Not only does this directly discuss the grief of Kratos’ past, but it also has some pretty great added lore things for the original PS one era God of War.

I see the same thing time and time again.  Whether it’s books, movies or games.  People seem to show grief using the same tropes over and over again.  The new game I’m reviewing seems to do a trope that I’m kind of getting sick of.  Let’s talk about some of them.

TTE Ep. 4 Blood Hunters(Level 8)-To Kill the Sisters

When this game was announced, I kept an eye on it.  Now that I am playing it I’m happy to say, at least in the early hours, that this game is great, and the stories of grief and ghosts that Don’t Nod have developed here is something that is truly shaping up to be something special.  Enjoy.

’m really happy with how the whole package of this game came together, from the writing to the voice acting and of course with its message of grief and how different people deal with it.  Depending on the personal attachment that people have to religion or culture, or maybe where they are in the world everyone deals with death differently.  The team at Don’t Nod really outdid themselves this time.  We’ll talk about it.

This is just a look at things I have been playing to chill out between big reviews.  I also played a bit of the Contra demo, (Yes, it has a demo) with my wife.  It really took me back to yesteryear.  Also, I never thought I’d say this but I can’t believe I’m actually liking a JRPG.  And FF 7 at that.  Let’s talk about all of it.

After I published my full review I kept playing Banishers.  To my surprise and delight I found more to love about this game then I initially thought and there was something about most of the published reviews that I had seen(IGN, Gamespot, etc.) that needed to be talked about.  So let’s do that.

The Grief of Politics Episode 40-Trump in 2024

Although I’ve been out of town the last few days I have gotten the chance to play Under the Waves.  The game is about 9-10hrs. long.  I’m about 3-4hrs. in.  A slow and methodical game about the crushing weight of grief.  Love what I am playing so far.  Full review next week.

Gaming with Grief Episode 259-What's up Sony?

Some new players and a brand new setting.  Everyone really wanted to travel to the land of Krynn and experience the wonderful world of dragons and queens and...We are running the Shadow of the Dragon Queen adventure module for D&D 5e. To catch you up:  We played a few sessions without recording.  We were on boarding a new player.
To Recap: The PCs were tasked with investigating some prisoner camps to the North and to the East of their location.  After they kill some mercenaries they investigate the area, they find an illusionary rock wall, this episode picks up there.

 I had to change a lot of the module  because the experiment this time is to get PCs from level 1 to level 20.  The module ends at level 10-12.  Enjoy the first official session and remember the episodes hit once a week now on Wednesday.  The video hits YouTube at 7:00am and the audio hits earlier Wednesday morning.
