On December 26th 2021, I recorded a last minute Xmas/end of the year mixtape (been a while…) featuring some (very slow’n’drowsy) favorites of 2021 : Blue Chemise, Andrew Chalk, Grouper, Tomaga, Sophie /Autechre, Movietone, Princess Diana of Wales, Kali Malone, Perila & Ulla, Cylene / Ryoji Ikeda, Fujiiiiiiita, Death is not the end, Sarah Davachi, Maria W. Horn, Contours, Klara Lewis & Mannerfeldt, Space Afrika, Enhet for fri musik… working title is « the way her hair falls » after the Grouper song of the same name, which was a highlight of my year - listening to that song and interviewing Liz Harris as my last Vanity Fair job, right before jumping somewhere else. The rest of the mixtape is mostly stuff we played on l’Experimentale radio show @francemusique @inagrm thank you @kasseljaeger and much respect to @grouperepuorg
