This is the drone sound adjusted after some critique from the class and professor. I still do not quite understand what a drone means? I'm gonna post the original one too. Not for grading but just to show how much I don't really get??? I don't know it sounds petty now that I write it out.

Drone Sound For Class

This is the scary animal sound for class, that I am more than a little late with. I actual generated the breathing sounds from a squeaky floor and the hissing from punching a pillow. The rest was just generated chirps mutated into odd background noises. 

Half the sounds are actually in another project that I made on accident. I don't really know much about sound manipulation, but I am good at following my ear. So when I heard the hiss I knew something needed to be done with it.

Scary AnimalSound

This is another "very" late assignment where we were supposed to create animal sounds without any use of sounds from living things. This one is generated solely from chirps and pulses from audacity. I had a lot of trouble trying to make any cute sound that was high pitch. 

After fiddling for a long while the closest I got to making a cute sound was, well this. To me it sounds like I recreate a dog, which was not my first intention.

Cute Animal Sound

I'm uploading this one because I proposed to my professor an auditory representation of what my synthesia is like and has been. This is a short representation of what it was like in my Grandfather's place. This was an assignment from a previous semester and is only here as an example.

Honestly I feel like I didn't do it justice, since my "sound issues" would overlap or wholly replace the sounds I hear with voices, completely different sounds, or with complete sentences and/or conversations. Which then led to me going crazy for four years.

Grandad's House with Synth

This was the drone assignment I had presented in class before I got the critques. Most of the critique was the big pulse was too large to be a drone, too much movement. I don't quite understand? Maybe because that is somewhat what I was accustomed to when my synthesia was out of control and in a more intense state a sort of unearthly pulse that goes on forever, threatening to swallow you. 

But that is neither here nor there. I like it so I'M GONNA POST IT. But I do feel like something is wrong or missing that could make it as anxiety inducing as those moments were for me. If I do find out what it is, I'm not sure if i'd want to add it. *Horrible flashbacks*

Original Drone Project NOT FOR GRADING

This assignment had us using a minimum of 8 tracks where we had to have at least 3 non-music based sounds (instruments, etc). My original version of this was designed for 1 minute even though it was supposed to be 3. So this has been rectified to the best of my ability!

The original inspiration of this was to set up a scene for my players and to give it as much substance as possible (I play D&D). I kept one of my players in close mind who could appreciate this sound the most. If you are reading this you know who you are.   ;-)

I am college student that is trying to get into animation and illustration. Though I do admit I have some interest when it comes to sound creation due to some of my auditory processing issues. I however have very little technical skill whatsoever.
