one of Dave Chappelle’s secret sets at Ths Comedy Store. This isn’t one of his epic 5 hour sets, it’s actually much more special, Dave showed up after last call with an entourage that included the British pop singer Estelle. Dave was absolutely HAMMERED & this is obviously not a good performance but it’s amazing nonetheless for obvious reasons. Dave is so drunk he keeps calling Estelle Adele and even convinces her to sing an Adele song! They sing Estelle’s hit “American Boys” as well as “Killing Him Softly” & some other things plus there’s a ton of hilarious throwaway lines, like “Donald Trump is gonna be inaugurated in 3 days. In 3 days he’ll have his PUSSY-GRABBING hands ALL OVER the Bible!” Also, people who think Dave Chappelle is “conservative” should listen to his lengthy drunken rant about how “America owes black people money” because “they let white boys in the girls’ restroom.” Real conservative thought there, Dave!

In 1983, Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, instituted it's first Hall of Fame Dinner. The first to be inducted was the school's legendary Dean of Discipline, Monsignor Stan Jablonski. He held this position from the opening of the school in 1941 up into the early 1960s. On hand that evening was Regis Philbin, Class of 1949, who served as emcee and George Carlin. As Carlin puts it, "If I would've graduated, I'd be class of 1955." This recording picks up as Carlin begins his personal remembrances of the school and some faculty members. They included Monsignor McCormack, Father Ziemak and Monsignor Jablonski, of course. There are a few remarks by Monsignor Jablonski at the end of Carlin's talk. This event took place on Saturday, April 23rd, 1983. There was a huge turnout for this event with almost 1,300 present.
