This outstanding year 2020 forced all of us to slide into new spheres, experience changes and new dimensions of our existence. Daniela La Luz took the chance to write more music aside the dancefloor and got deeper into meditation.

As result Daniela gathered international talented and befriended electronic producers and pianist Natyra to bring this VA Compilation to life. This compilations musical purpose is to function as COPING MECHANISMS, to calm our restless minds. Even if you don´t chase meditation on purpose, this compilation will open up a space to do so.

Festivals, clubs, events, simply public human life was down, which was sad and dramatic for many of us and still life goes on. The term ‚success‘ has reached another definition. Music is still essential for most of us and even if it doesn´t feel like it, we´re still moving forward.

´COPING MECHANISMS (Electronic Meditation)´ is music for the evolutionary development, which is taking place inside of you. The purpose of this compilations music is to ease the mood and open up a portal through which you can go on a journey, encourage and strengthen yourself and stimulate yourself to turn inwards.

From 2008-2018 Berlin based Daniela La Luz was part of „Parallel Berlin“, not only as international touring live act, but also as producer, promoter, A&R and label head. In 2020 she founded her own project „DIMENSION OF BEING HUMAN“, which is an a music and nature art label, exploring and featuring the global diversity of electronic music, ranging from all human feelings, to science, nature, animals, climate activism and mysticism, with the goal to connect all people of all countries of our beautiful planet.

Previously unreleased remix from Berlin's HANSA STUDIO (day 1).  

This original remix was rejected by Art and I just hours after doing it, for having too much reverb.  

At the time, the Frankfurt sound featured HUGE reverbs.  Since HANSA had actual "Tile Rooms" to create authentic reverbs - not machine generated reverbs.  We got all exited and went a little crazy on this first attempt.  Thinking this was the version we were using on "r-  1", we did a matching instrumental version, in case we wanted to change this vocal version.

Both versions were trashed.

On day 8 of our 9 day remixing extravaganza we redid the mix for the first die cut LP release, calling it "r-  1" mix which later became known as  "The Berlin Mix".  That sealed the fact of this VOCAL version never to be heard from again... until now.

New Order -  Subculture (Unreleased "Snare From Hell" Vocal)

Last Sunday we remixed this live as a workshop on ZOOM and had a great time.  This track is part of a benefit album being organized and released to benefit the club NUMBER'S in Houston.  I wanted to give a sample here so you could here what it's going to sound like.  The mix we did is 7:45 long, this is just a 2:00 sample (sorry!)
