The pain of love" is a melodic and melancholy pop song about the suffering caused by the feeling of love. On the other hand, the song  also describes love as a unique feeling that you very rarely feel and don't want to end.
Musically, it is the piano that takes us into the song with an electro rhythm and a classical orchestra.

La chanson Wasted Dreams  parle des rêves de jeunesse  qui ne se sont jamais réalisés mais qui restent toujours présents. C’est un mélange de désespoir et d’espoir en même temps.
Le temps passe trop vite,  on grandi et on fini par se conformer à une routine de vie qu’on ne voulait pas vraiment. On se laisse aller et on fini par perdre nos rêves mais on garde l’espoir d’un  changement et on essaie d’aller de l’avant et lutter pour ces rêves qui sont à l’intérieur de nous.

Wasted Dreams

Joseph Cesar is a portuguese-born singer-songwriter living in Paris. He is also a teacher. He was born in Portugal but his life has been shared between Portugal and France since the age of 14.
He has been interested in music since his childhood. In his family, his father is a musician and this is undoubtedly his first influence. Very young, he listens to a little of everything: pop, rock and electronic music. Little by little, he built his musical culture.
He learned to play guitar on his own at age of 15 and listened mainly to alternative rock, grunge and punk rock during his high school years. He grew up in an english and american musical culture. He returned to Portugal in 2000 to find his independence and do his university studies. Subsequently he formed his first band called Plastic Soul, an alternative rock band with whom he was going to tour for a few years.
In 2006 he returned to Paris and began to create the first texts and the first melodies in english.
He released his first self-produced acoustic EP in 2013 entitled "Break Up The Walls". A year later, in 2014 he met his producer Lionel Renault with whom he will record his first album "The Other Side", officially released in October 2016 distributed by Keyzit and reissued by the french label All Style Editions in 2019. It’s a rock and folk album written in English that describes a different vision of life and the world around us. In 2019 he released the single "Wasted Dreams" from his first album.
He plays solo, in duo and also in group.
In 2018 he decided to change his musical orientation and wrote texts not only in english but also in portuguese and french.
In January of 2021, after a long difficult period he returned to the studio to record his second EP much more eclectic with pop and electro sounds. The first single from this second EP called "The Pain Of Love" will be released on October 29 and it’s a melodic and melancholy pop song.
Joseph Cesar's songs express a mixture and contrast of feelings about the world around us. This contrast is the reflection of his music. There is love, sadness, hope, anguish, fear, desire, revolt, indignation, freedom, lack and emptiness. He is always on the lookout for something new and different.
