EDIT: It was the siren from a nearby psychiatric hospital.

While working earlier this morning, there was a frequency out of place. It turns out that the sound was coming from outside. With no explanation as to what may be the source, I recorded a few minutes of field sound from directly outside the window, gathering passing traffic and bells from a nearby church in the process. I'm genuinely interested in what could be causing such a loud 'drone', so if anyone has an idea...
