i'm 16 years old, so i'm about a year away from finishing high school and going to university and eventually getting a job. but tbh.... that's a stressful thing. because there's always this thought in my mind that i'll pick the wrong degree and start a career path i don't even want to take. so that's what this song is about- fear of the future.
