This is the first annual Gremlin Fest and we are proud to host it here in New Orleans, LA, where all of our local Gremlin Radio Resident DJs will be joined by many of our fellow Residents from Florida (where Gremlin Radio has a HUGE presence), Missouri, Arkansas, and other nearby states to be a part of an awesome weekend long event headlined by DJ Brad Smith (aka Mr. Smith) on Friday night, and DJ Sharaz (aka Dr. Evil) on Saturday night!

Special Mardi Gras cups with the Gremlin Radio logo and the headliners' names will be used to serve drinks in at the bar, Gremlin Fest 2013 glow in the dark silicone armbands and Gremlin Fest 2013 Glow Sticks will be available in various colors.  

This mix is posted as a FREE download and includes several well known tracks by both Brad Smith and Sharaz to get you ready for some of what's in store at this event. When Manuel sent me a guitar track over a year ago I fairly quickly decided to write an epilogue for Major Tom. Little did I know that I would end up taking a longish break from writing music. With infinite patience Manuel waited for me until now and to my even greater surprise this retro lyric has become almost current with the two NASA astronauts in space waiting for their return trip to Earth.

Joseph Anthony Sousa Jr., born in Brooklyn, NY on July 27, 1968 
formerly known as DJ Dr. Souss aka SOUSS.  
He was influenced by New York's Hip Hop and Breakdance scene in his younger years and at the age of 15 moved down South to Louisiana.  Souss mastered his skills as a night club DJ and became one of the legendary DJ's in New Orleans by the time he was 21 years old. Mixing and Scratching at the hottest nightclubs and holding residency at House Of Blues, Aqua, 360 WTC and Kenny Key West.  In 2002 DJ Dr. Souss had the pleasure of performing at a nightclub event which  hosted the New Orleans Mayor and The New Orleans Hornets basketball team.  His popularity for the past 30 years has allowed him to travel all across the United States headlining and opening up for the Music Industry's top artists like: Tiesto, Egyptian Lover, Stevie B, Crystal Waters & Quest Love just to name a few. Since the 2019 Pandemic that caused the World to stop, Souss didn't miss a BEAT turning his passion and focus towards writing and producing his own music.  His music has been streaming all ver the world on major platforms like: Spotify, Apple Music & iTunes.  In 2020 he released his first track titled “The Serum”, followed by “Horn Play behind the Second Line”.  In 2021 he released “More Happy Days Ahead” and “Hypnotica Utopia”.  Currently working on another track to be released before the end of 2021.  This new path has allowed Souss to compose many styles within different genres bringing his EDM “Soussafied” style to Hip Hop, Breaks, House and World music.  Souss' accomplishments has opened so many opportunities within the Music Industry, his passion and love of music has fueled him to pursue his dreams of producing and writing for opportunities within TV, Movie and Commercial industries.
