I walked in to the corner store and started talking to a man in a chair.  His helper walked up and asked what a I needed.  When I turned back to the chair, I realized it was empty and there was just a jacket draped over the back.  I told the other clerk and he turned pale.  He told me that was the owners jacket and chair and he had died just a month before...  He said "don't scare me like that".  As I left I noticed his candle and balloon shrine on the sidewalk.
