For this occasion Jose Pouj signs an original track "Transfusion" which gives name to the EP, also himself presents us a remix for Kike Pravda. ´Conquer Us´, is the name given to the 11th reference to be released on the prestigious Spanish label Injected Poison Records. The mysterious Argentinian duo YYYY based in Buenos Aires are the main contributors on the EP boasting two original tracks, which both pour-out an intense emotional feeling, as well as compliment a sound both industrial, experimental and full of rich atmospheric and orchestral features that lead the listener on to make a journey into their own minds. The EP is also accompanied by two thought-provoking remixes on its B side.

Indigo Kennedy, having releases already on important international labels such as, Asymmetric, Token, Semantica and Stroboscopic Artifacts, has transformed ´Conquer Us´ into a dance-floor friendly version adding a different potent and raw emotional edge.

A Thousand Details is Gustavo Lima, owner of Reaktivate Records. Once half of Quantic Spectroscopy, A Thousand Details seeks self-expression and experimentation in controlled realms of Electronic Music. Inspired by a long time of hearing and admiring many genres of music like Industrial, Metal and early day Techno and House, Gustavo’s goal is to build his mental images in organized temporal sounds. 

The main idea is to not be defined by a meaningless and shorten genre in a so vast Universe. Sonic explorations without limiting it to a place and a period of time. Every moment, every sight, sound is a motif of inspiration to create new realms. The only words describing it might be hypnotic, dark, somber and unknown. The rest is music for everyone who wants to embrace it. 

Known for playing many genres in his DJ Sets, A Thousand Details has many years on the craft and been around his own country, Portugal, spreading his feelings with powerful and emotional sets that captivate the attention of the public. Like a snake charmer, he feels the urge to hypnotize and charm the crowds into travelling paths out of our reality and build memories of great moments in unknown territories. In 2016 he started his radio show “Corridors” on UK Seance Radio to show how he builds those corridors into different universes.

As a producer his first appearance was on Reaktivate 2nd Vinyl release with Portuguese experimental duo Sturqen. Following the success of the release and the hard work he puts in everything he crafts many other opportunities came to release on labels like Dynamic Refleciton, Faut Section, Circular Limited, Illegal Alien, Shaded Explorations, Trabet, Seance, Wunderblock, ARTS, Translucent, Konstrukitv and other fine labels. In 2015 after releasing on Lewis Fautzi, Faut Section, he got invited to play his hardware live act at NeoPop Festival in Portugal in one of the country biggest electronic music events. His hard work is what he believes in to allow him to transmit emotions and memories by his music.

Gustavo also has different alter egos like Curse Records H8R and Wretched Records Marcel Mrak, where he tries different approaches to techniques and views and perhaps not so controlled ambients, but pure chaos.

Después de casi dos años desde su último lanzamiento en plástico, el equipo de Injected Poison Records -dirigido por el español Jose Pouj- presenta la quinta referencia del sello. En vinilo y digital, éste es un release repleto del mejor techno del momento ya que cuenta con los más relevantes productores españoles: Oscar Mulero, Christian Wünsch, Exium y el boss del sello: Jose Pouj.

“The Structure” se abre con el A1 Sound Mirror: el sonido inconfundible de Oscar Mulero envuelve un track repleto de melódicas atmosferas, percusiones profundas, sintes que aparecen y desaparecen… Todo envuelto en reverbs que resulta imposible describir... Un gran trabajo de nuestro master: Oscar Mulero.

El segundo corte de la A es Mutation: de la mano del cántabro Christian Wünsch –nacido en Mónaco-, también responsable de Tsunami Records, llega un tema 'clásico' (a 4x4) con una línea de bajos que no descansa. Atmosferas interminables que tienden hacia lo oscuro... Es el sonido que identifica a Wünsch.

En el reverso del disco podemos escuchar Repeating Future: el primer corte de la B es obra del dúo asturiano Exium, formado por los ya conocidos Héctor Sandoval y Valentín Corujo; este es un tema que se distancia de las producciones que acostumbramos a escuchar: es un track con una gran estructura muy dinámica, algo innovador pero con un sonido reconocible y característico del dúo.

El EP se cierra con The Structure: realizado por el capo del sello -Jose Pouj- es un track cargado de contundencia y con una dinámica muy procesada; percusiones afiladas y progresivos filtros son los protagonistas de este gran trabajo de sinte en el que una gruesa bassline ayuda al exquisito resultado final. Una producción que sumar al currículum de esta promesa del techno europeo.

Este es en definitiva un gran EP formado por los mejores sonidos del momento.

Almost two years have gone by since the team at Injected Poison Records launched its previous vinyl record. Now, the label headed by the Spanish artist Jose Pouj brings us its fifth release. Available on vinyl and digital, this issue will be jam-packed with the best and most up-to-date techno, because they have enlisted the most outstanding Spanish producers: Oscar Mulero, Christian Wünsch, Exium and the label's boss himself: Jose Pouj.

Side A of The Structure opens with "Sound Mirror": Oscar Mulero's unmistakable sound envelops a track full of melodic atmospheres, deep percussion, synths that come and go... All wrapped in reverbs that are impossible to describe. A great work by our great master Oscar Mulero.

Side A's second track is "Mutation", brought to us by Christian Wünsch, a Cantabrian born in Monaco who is behind Tsunami Records. This is a classic 4x4 track with a relentless bass line and never ending atmospheres that verge on darkness. Pure Wünsch sound.

On the flipside we can listen to "Repeating Future". The first track of the B side is a work by Asturian duo Exium, whom we also know as Héctor Sandoval and Valentín Corujo. This track is slightly different from what we are accustomed to hear from these producers: a great and dynamic structure which is innovating, whilst retaining the characteristic sound of the duo.

The EP closes with "The Structure": produced by Jose Pouj, the label's chief, this track is loaded with forcefulness and a very well processed action. Sharp percussions and progressive filters take the centre stage in this great synth exercise, where the dense bass line helps to produce an exquisite end result. This production definitely adds up to the curriculum of this contender to the European techno dance floors.

In a nutshell, this is a fantastic EP made up of the best sounds of the moment.
