Charm

I found project files for this little half song on my computer and started playing with them, sooner or later i was sucked in and ended up making it sound halfway decent. I really like this little groove and I'm really disappointed i never saved the patch for the cute little electric piano lead because I would have loved to expand upon this idea.  This might be as far as it ever gets though.

Took one of my old tracks on here and made some slight improvements. its a bit more palatable now.  Original description: 

I made this track when I was feeling really sad.  Just another little piece of my soul for you to listen to.  Nothing serious, just a few sounds whipped together. I may make come back on this one with some vocals.

Wind and water

This song....I put a lot of myself into it, but have a forgiving ear because I recorded it in my basement using a handheld cam corder and mixed it by adding lengths of silence to the extracted audio files in Audacity.  Hope you enjoy.  Pic is a random from my wallpapers folder, kind of reminds me of how this song makes me feel

Too soon to name this song...

Playing the chord progression on my brand new Yamaha A1M that I recieved as a christmas gift.  I wrote the chord progression a while ago, just now decided to add some life to it with the ol' stratocaster.  It's not perfect but I'm impatient and at this point it really doesn't need to be.

I was messing around with my little kaossilator and I happened my way into this curious vibe, and it made feel me happy, so named it appropriately, and thought I would share it with you.  I hope it makes you happy too :)

Another Kaossilator creation, I've these loops just sitting around on my computer forever, just recently decided to throw them together into a little something.  Pretty simplistic beat, but even as far as the kaossiltor goes, the lead sounds are pretty intricate in my opinion, I've since tried to recreate similar sounds without success.  

Again, I take no credit for any of the samples used in this track, they were all created by Korg and all credit for them goes to Korg.

Made this track durring Global Game Jam 2014, its not much but I thought I'd upload it since its just been sitting on my desktop.  I really love the drum and bass vibe in general, if I ever get more into producing then I will most definitely be putting out some DnB

Drum and Bass

Certain things in this song are like a part two of "song that I wrote" it's kind of meant to be and indirect continuation of the same kind of type of emotion but still completely different feel.  The two songs would definitely go on an album together.  If you listen there are thirds with the notes individually strummed, but instead of leading up to a d minor they go to a d major making it sound triumphant more so than "sad" in the other song.  Well, anyways I hope you like. 

Update: This song WILL have lyrics.  As soon as I can find linguistic ideas that this music would be a catalyst to....which will probably take me quite a while

Some feels for today. I messed a couple things up but I'm too impatient to care. Lyrics for this one are underway, but until then I decided to fill in some extra notes on a 2nd channel. Hope you like :)

Colors

I made this using a couple loops that I recorded a long time ago with a sample that I made that got corrupted shortly after.  There were a few others but it would have taken some serious doctoring to implement them so I just used these two loops and made a beat around them.  You hear them in the beginning, they form the base melody in the track.  All other sounds that you hear came from the Kaossilator itself, and were made by Korg.   

More Dnb

This track wasn't supposed to be ready to put out yet but I found it on my computer and decided to share since i haven't uploaded anything all summer.   I hope this reminds you of Spyro the Dragon (the original one) when you listen to it because that's what inspired this sound.

Everything's fine

This is a MUCH better sounding remake of a song I uploaded before.  It is almost free of mistakes, and was recorded using my new Audio Technica USB mic, which has MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better sound quality than my phone.  I was going to record some electric guitar over this, but I was having trouble dealing with the noise, and then my laptop stopped working...so, I'll do that some other time.  Maybe even put drums and bass.  Once again, this picture was made by me in Fractron 9000

Brighter Sounds

I have no idea what genre I would call this.  I made this track for a school project in an intro to digital audio class, made it using couple plugins that come with Pro Tools express including Boom for the drums, and Xpand for all the synth, which was recorded on a midi keyboard.  I spent a lot of time getting the panning right and the equalization on all the tracks and what not, hope you like.  The picture I made, yet again, in Fractron9000

Holly Drummond's "Forbidden" inspired the base melody of this track.  I really love the melody in that song and felt like I needed to insert some of my own creativity into it.  I actually recorded this like a year ago and just found it on my computer randomly, so I touched it up a bit with some mixing and Equalization and decided that its decent enough for you to listen to.  Will I ever go back on this? probably not. but whatever here you go.
