The first single to be taken from The Emperor Machine's new album is 'RMI All I Want' and the synth-laden extravaganza oozes funk from the off. It comes with two blinding remixes from up-and-comer Dimitri Veimar and Phantasy head Erol Alkan. We're proud to present the premiere of the latter's.

A name synonymous with dance music and UK music culture, Erol Alkan is widely regarded as one of the world's best remixers, with his edits gaining worldwide love and support. Here he prolongs the robotic synths throughout and turns the track into a dancefloor-ready roller. Premiere - Rebolledo - Pow Pow

Romanian born and Berlin resident Borusiade delivers another dark, no-wave disco throbber with this track from her latest EP for Correspondant. Noiresque in tone, the half spoken/ half vocodered lyrics complement the chemically filtered sci-fi synths and clipped percussion.

There are many moments which can be recalled from the days of summer past. The dying embers of the sun would soon leave this place but for now they would dance in the golden glow beneath the trees. A roar would erupt from a small crowd as a drum banged between the leaves. Feet moved pacily in time and "Ciquita" they would chant euphorically for the whole damn world to hear. This one was an ode to summer madness, an ode to summer dreaming, an ode to summer past.

Ransom Note's very own "Ciquita" has been doing the rounds this summer and has appeared in some far flung locations. Bawrut has soundtracked our 2016, we're not sure about yours. However, now, as we enter the dying embers of the breezy, sun kissed months we unveil a new approach. Our good friend Moscoman steps up to deliver a remix to see in the Autumn as part of a new EP.

Superpitcher - Howl [Hippie Dance]

With his Alleged Witches moniker, RBMA alumni Christian Kroupa keeps expanding his range of experimentally inclined techno productions. The native Slovenian was recently featured on Scuba’s ‘Fabric 90’ mix CD and follows this appearance up with a new cut simply named after his alter ego. “Alleged Witches” draws attention to itself with the kind of rumbling, off-kilter beat backbone you would expect to hear on a Hessle Audio or Hemlock record. The shrouded vocal sample adds a ritualistic feel to the track.

Alleged Witches’ debut EP is out June 9th via Meda Fury.

The five days were a toil and terror upon the working man. Friday was the be all and end all for a generation lost beneath the waves. He looked out upon the carnage which was the Saturday night high street with a loathsome sense of self despair and and an anxious gaze. This was to be the place within which humanity would unfold, unbutton itself in disgrace for all the perilous world to see. 

DJ OIL appears on a new compilation from Ivan Smagghe's much loved Les Disques de la mort record label. The label is set to release a compilation titled "Grieve Not But Try Again" which features an impressive array of musicians.

PREMIERE: DJ OIL - WEEK ENDS [Lddlm]

Fresh from providing Futureboogie’s pivotal 50th release back in March, Christophe leads the charge on the label’s annual Summer Riot compilation EP, now on its sixth installment.  On “West Side Critters”, a bold and brooding kick drum that the early acid pioneers would be proud of, tethers a malleable acid bassline to its stable pattern, whilst incessant cow bells, distant tom hits and metallic piano chords pep up the production for another class track from Christophe. The Mexican duo, Zombies In Miami, have impressed for labels like Love On The Rocks and Correspondent over the years, and bring their own brand of spiritual dance to the Summer Riot party.  A collage of colour erupts on “The Legends Of The Hidden Temple” premiered here, with sitars, guitars, vocals and synths all weaving their magic over a chugging house beat with a bubbling acid underbelly. Formerly one half of previous FBR recording artists, Lizards, Lee Forster teams up with Ollie Warriner (Tunnyl Records) for a their new Forriner project, contributing the excellent “Spero” to the comp. Warming pads glide over lazy percussive beats, as a piano motif holds the breakdown before kickstarting the track to its glorious groovy finale. Bringing the Summer Riot VI to a cosmically charged ending, Yuki Tosaya channels the spirits of 1990’s ambient house in a superb track titled “Acid Dawn Breaks”.  Chugging, transcendental house at its finest, Tosaya teases 303s, piano riffs and cascading synths in a production that will no doubt see the break of dawn at many gatherings for a good while to come.

They were everywhere. The park was alive with rampant cats and the wildlife was bustling with energy. The trees swayed back and forth in the breeze as they gathered in great swarms amidst the long rushing grass. They were mostly silent yet from time to time there was the occasional echo or cry from one of the younger kittens. Nobody knew why they were here, it seemed as if they had appeared overnight but they were most certainly drawn to something.

Outsider house misfits Cowboy Rhythmbox, return to Phantasy with a tri-pronged blitzkrieg of wildly singular tracks. The pair deliver an expertly crafted EP packed with life.

Little is known about this freaky duo whose sound straddles opposing polarities, merging organics and synthetics, joining traditional textures with futuristic finish. Tho, we premiered already a track by them on Bordello A Parigi and a remix of them was a massive LYO secret weapon those last months. Those tracks for Multi Culti are sample-licious tracks that also feature original vocals and raw analog synths. They are noisy but clean, rough but smooth, soft and crunchy.  
On one hand, it's mad-cap multicultural disco funk as on Si Jambo (translated loosely as 'ALL GOOD') and 2Tac Onana, and on the other it's cybernetic weirdness and italo-inflected electro with 'Non-Binary Joys on the Venus Holodeck' and 'Czary Mary premiered here,' which sounds like it could be the flip-side to Sharivari.  In between this binary divide is 'Something For the Mind,' a brilliant piece of pop music that springs lightly into your brain with catchy bleeps, incredible vocoder, and a beat guaranteed to get the braindance party started. Marcello Giordani doesn’t need a presentation, “ Italo Deviance ” capo and one of the members of  Marvin & Guy , signs the second track, an amazing afrobeat edit with a class groove   and   a   highly   addictive   flow
Australian dj and vinyl junkie  Hysteric , after releasing at  “Public Possessions” and  “Ostra Discos” to name a few, does his best delivering a synth-pop-italo tune, chic and charming at the   same   time
And last but not least, label owners  Moon & Mann close the Ep with another edit that follows the italo tendence of the previous one. A track that pretty sure will rock the most selected disco-dancefloors.

Moscoman looks inwards in Treisar season one episode eight. Palm Pilot opens up with a full side of Morning Depression Routine, siphoning the post wake up blues into a dopamine raising cocktail of euphoric chords and giant droning bass.

A flip of the record and Step Into A Word confidently marches on through a sparse landscape of descending arpeggios, heart-wrenching keys and spectral steel drums. Closing off the record, Overview Effect is an italo beholden stomper and the definite soundtrack to cosmic melancholia.

Events take a somber turn as Moscoman’s Treisar project edges closer to its natural conclusion with Nemesh.

The ninth chapter in the Treisar series opens up with The Lady Of The Light, a mechanical ride through the later stages of madness, all in automated bleeps and sinister laments.

Pain Collection sees Moscoman channel his post punk sensibilities through anguished guitars, while Walls Of Jericho gives Nemesh its final master stroke with a middle eastern dancefloor war song.
