This time the Sicilian artists Daniele Dovico and Katal join forces to deliver us two original filthy tracks. “The acid drum” shows the love of the duo for the acid side of house music, without forgetting to complete this masterpiece with perfect suitable fat drumming. “Call the drumma” as it´s own name says, aims to the feet of every raver, a perfect track to smash the clubs. Not only that, the remixing task comes this time from Tripmastaz, who has gained the respect of the underground scene over the past decade. Now it´s your time to dance and show your love to Roush!

It’s always a pleasure to behold Amsterdam based producer Julien Chaptal back amongst the Saved fold. He has well and truly delivered the goods every time he has appeared on the label. His new two track EP, ‘Silver Surface / Rusty Bicyclette is no different, offering a brace of quality, underground techno that is uncompromising yet groovy until the last.

‘Silver Surface’ is a deep and melodic tech workout. The cascading drum patterns work in total harmony with the rolling melodies and wave-like bass to create a tight groove that locks you in right away. Its rhythms are fascinating, as is its ability to balance its light and airy aesthetic with its bass-driven and underground attitude.

‘Rusty Bicyclette’ is far tougher and uncompromising, delving into a raw, dubby atmosphere right from the start. Stripped back and driven almost entirely by driving sub-bass, crunching 4/4s and unflinching FX, the track is a no-nonsense warehouse destroyer that is full of both energy and charisma. Both tracks here are Julien Chaptal at his succinct and dynamic best. He makes a welcome home at Saved yet again!!

Having recently collaborated for '14,000 km Away’, Berlin's Philip Bader now makes his solo debut for Davide Squillace's boundary pushing This And That imprint with a 5 track EP named ‘Funkey Feeling’ - set for release on 22nd December.

 ‘Julia’ is a perfect combination of driving beats and snapping high hats, showcasing Bader’s technically proficient production. 'Yeppa' follows, and crafts a true dancefloor killer with signature pounding drums and intelligently structured effects, whilst ‘Walking Away’ takes the EP into a dark, atmospheric direction. 'Funkey Feeling’ rounds off the EP, and as the title suggests is a more upbeat offering that adds a distinct groove to proceedings - with eclectic Barcelona-based duo Haiku 575 providing a melodic remix of their own.

The label's clear focus on combining the worlds of art, culture and music provide a perfect platform for 'Julia's' deep, techno sound, with release artwork specifically commissioned by This and That. Continuing their longstanding relationship with art
collective Galleria Fonti, Angolean artist and photographer Kiluanji Kia Henda was distinguished by the magazine Foreign Politics as one of the Leading Global Thinkers of 2014, and his work aims to draw attention to issues of race, power dynamics and global relations.

With a steady output of releases on esteemed labels such as Get Physical, Saved and Moon Harbour, Philip's latest EP for This And That is a direct reflection of his explorative approach to production. Having received widespread support from the
likes of Santé, Anja Schneider, Pirupa and many more, 'Julia' takes Philip into 2015 with strong ammunition for the dance floor.

First releasing with them in 2011, Russ has since become a fully fledged member of Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels, as well as putting out cutting edge music with No.19 and the house heavyweights Hot Creations, alongside close friends Lee Foss, Richy Ahmed and Jamie Jones. 

To name only a few, Russ’ previous releases have been supported by the likes of Steve Lawler, Carl Cox, Heidi, Skream, M.A.N.D.Y., Mark Jenkyns

Boundlessly energetic and lusciously warm, the “ Darkside” release is a showcase of the tight and well-honed productions that Russ has made his name with. “Darkside Radio” features an enticing groove, punctuated by acidic elements and kick started by a lo-fi vocal sample reminiscent of old school P-funk DJs. A powerful bassline dominates “Amnesiac” (featuring Peter Parker) and intricate, scattered percussion blends seamlessly with chunky low-end to create “The Message”, a powerful floor filler. “Aura” (featuring Pete Smith) is perfectly titled, with atmospheric piano and vocal stabs bringing the release to a hypnotic conclusion. 

Remixes come from Eskuche & New Sky on “Darkside Radio”, and SEFF on “Amnesiac”. 

Fresh off the back of an incredible release on Hot Creations, NYC’s Eskuche & New Sky have been supported by Marco Carola, Maya Jane Coles and MK. Their remix is pure bass weight from the very first beat, with snappy and echoing percussion and synth samples that create a modern yet vintage feel. This is absolutely not to be missed!

SEFF returns to VIVa MUSiC Limited, reworking but retaining the punch and groove of “Amnesiac”, creating an infectiously bouncy, rock solid remix. Releasing this year on Material and WOW! Recordings, SEFF has recently signed an EP to Hot Creations for 2015. Expect to see big things from this hot UK up and comer!

After his very successful remix of ‘Slip Away’ on Noir Music we are extremely delighted to release this incredible EP from Olivier Giacomotto. Paris based Giacomotto is no new name to the scene but he has hit a sweet spot on Noir Music with his recent productions and this ‘Postgalactic’ EP might be his best effort to date. All four tracks move in the same universe but show Giacomotto from melodic to the more minimal sound. It’s been ages since we've heard such a solid effort from one artist and we have been all smiles here since Giacomotto decided to shower Noir Music with his great productions. No more praising words; let the music do the talking.
