Some people are just not destined to have enough sleep. When you don’t sleep enough the world appears to be a different place, compared to the way it is when the mind is fully rested. In such cases very different scenarios may occur.

Starting with a dreamy melody of Roma Zuckerman’s “Sleep not found”, which inspired the entire Трип 008 album, and ending with a thirteen minute live recording by a_000, the side project of Alex Backdrop, the entire record has a dreamy and tripped out flow.

трип 008 continues the tradition of gatefold double EPs as conceptual album.All tracks are selected around a particular story, a trip, and presented as a continuous sonic landscape.All tracks are structured in a way that they can be mixed one with another an endless amount of times making a continuous loop, a trip, that needs only end when the party stops. Kraviz works without release dates or deadlines, enabling her to achieve a certain sound bank to shape the story, unmasking the thoughts and unravelling like a dream.

I need to be alive. This emotionless, glass-eyed view of the world that’s your vision. And you held me to it, like some sort of prisoner. Yes, that’s what you are. You’re shackles. Iron bars disguised as safety. You thought I would stay with you forever, in the limbo of that grounded shrinking quadrant, drip-fed. Your pet. Your lab rat. For a while there I totally lost myself, sinking further and further under your sedation. Life became colourless. And then there was nothing. But in the curlicues of deep encompassing darkness, that’s when I realised: I wasn’t the weak one. It was you all along. You needed me. I was the prop that stopped you from falling down. Well, no more. This ends now. It’s time we became unbound. I release you. Go. Be free."

Grey Series 04 comes from the farthest corner of Eastern Europe courtesy of Ukrainian techno pioneer, photographer and designer Stanislav Tolkachev. Like the sullen eerie beauty of his black and white photography, Tolkachev’s music explores the darker, surreal fringes of electronic music in its purest, rawest state. Retroactive seams run through his audio and visual output to date from the grainy analogue qualities of his Detroit-facing sound, through to the classic stills that emboss his discography. They are almost one and the same, both challenging and re-contextualising the past with modern sentiment, agendas and hidden meanings pursing with intrigue and ambiguity. ‘Depth of light’ sees Tolkachev plot more intoxicating, caustic dream sequences, translating fitful night terrors into a diverse and multifunctional EP. Beginning with the woozy title track we confront fears (“Like a cat’s shadow”) and anxieties (“Break something that breaks you”) on the feverish A-side, before flipping over for reserved reprieve (“No home no flag”) and acid-washed revenge (“Don't shit on your own doorstep”). And then we awake. Tired, sweaty, but satisfied.

Kaleidoscopic colours radiate across Frankfurt skyline; "Dusk 28" opens a world of possibilities for Jannis Brinkmann and Naldoe. Shimmering synth lines blink in stratified layers of sound that bleed into each other like the evening sky. A stream of consciousness pours out in cadenced vocal, that lilts gently into the night air.

'Dusk' takes on a new character over the distinctive features of Berlin. An innovative sonic architecture is revealed as sun makes way for moon via the sounds of Robin Schellenberg. Familiar melodic tropes emerge in the gloaming before radiating outward in new warm shades. Ice cool refrains cascade across a new landscape as Chook creates a dark soundscape that beckons the darkness while chopped vocals and new melodies drive relentlessly forward alongside a menacing analogue bassline. A vivid image of London is seared in the mind's eye; a glorious 'Dusk' courtesy of Nichols creates a thickly textured sonic palette. A deep and resonant bass drives syncopated rhythms that pound a rolling groove, the heartbeat of bustling city as day turns to night.

I see colours in the moonlight ride away into the sunset.

"Nobody Is Not Loved" - who could even dare to make such a statement?

Only music itself. Because music loves everyone, regardless of whether they are good or bad. It holds this very special, divine power. A metaphysical force that can unite all people, and has done so since the dawn of mankind.

“Tuk Tuk” is the third single from the album "Nobody Is Not Loved", that is now being released.

It is a highly energetic track that swerves across genres, first and foremost through the powerfulness of the extraordinary voice of Inez, singer of the German band ÄTNA. Her strong attitude stands above it all: "I'm the boss!"

The music video is a parable for the main idea behind the album title: The invisible protagonist of the video is the music, embodied by Inez. And she really has to fight. Throughout history, music has been misused, attacked or entirely forbidden – but until now has always prevailed. And once again in this case!

Because only music has the power to overcome everything - and to unite everyone in the end.
