HiPNOTT Record's latest recruit is Orlando-based emcee MidaZ the BEAST, who will soon deliver his official debut album AU: Another Universe on August 20th. On the album's lead single, "Fire" MidaZ comes equipped with strong arm production from Marco Polo and a lightening verse from Roc Marciano to coincide with his brute force on the mic.

By fusing Small Professor's use of sample chops, thumping drums and electric guitar chords with Guilty's calculated rhyme schemes and AG's classic bars, the trio offer another reason to believe why 'Highway Robbery' is shaping up to be one of the more stand out emcee/producer pairings in recent history. Highway Robbery is a collaborative concept album from Detroit's heavyweight emcee Guilty Simpson and Philly's burgeoning beat smith Small Professor. Weighing in at ten tracks, the project places you in a seemingly post apocalyptic Detroit where the mentality is feast or famine. 'Highway Robbery' plays as one long narrative of Guilty's day-to-day survival in Detroit's concrete jungle, set to the tone of Small Professor's foreboding, percussion heavy production. Flatbush representative Archie Bang is not your typical "started from the bottom" story. Yes, his past caught up with him, putting his rap career on hold. But he knows what it takes to make it in the big leagues; after interning at Rawkus Records while in high school, Archie was eventually signed to J Records. From honing his skills with the group, Dirty Water, in Little Rock, AR, Archie Bang eventually found himself at the same table as Clive Davis to discuss business.

Archie's upbringing in a musical house where his father was a Haitian Jazz musician and his mother constantly played Soul records, helped him appreciate different genres of music and keep his ears attuned to what was simply good. It also showed him the importance of hustling to make something of himself. After collaborating on songs and mixtapes with the likes of Nipsey Hussle and DJ Whoo Kid, Archie maintains his focus while taking his craft to the next level. As he would say, "I am music.
