Hello lovely people, I hope you all had an amazing summer! I wanted to take you on a journey that I've recently been on, down the minimal techno hole. It's a bit different from my usual Green House sessions (and a new iteration is dying to be released shortly!) and hence it's under the Essentials banner - where I explore different avenues. Much inspiration from old heroes and legends and this also counted as a practice session to see if I had the technical skills (in fact I heard a set like this on vinyl which got me started - no master tempo, no sync, no beatmatch, no quantize!) Bio:

Marcelo Malta, aka MLTX, is a DJ and music producer deeply rooted in a musical legacy. Inspired by his multi-instrumentalist father, he began his musical journey early on, mastering drumming and performing in hardcore, punk rock, and heavy metal bands. This formative experience instilled in him a profound appreciation for diverse rhythms and melodies.

In 2015, a transformative experience at major festivals and parties ignited a passion for techno. Immersed in the sounds of renowned artists, he discovered a new musical direction. Encouraged by a friend during the pandemic, he embraced DJing, quickly establishing himself as a rising star.

MLTX has garnered international recognition, playing at renowned parties and podcasts worldwide. His talent was acknowledged by the Colombian collective @elviaje, where he was invited to curate, providing a platform for other underground artists.

MLTX's unique sound, coined #fusiontechno, seamlessly blends techno, indie dance, and dark disco. His productions and DJ sets are characterized by energetic and captivating performances, driven by powerful, dark rhythms that reflect his drumming background.

RESISTANCE SESSIONS GUEST MIX #55 - by Fabson

Fabson - a DJ and electronic music enthusiast from Poland, based in Germany. His artistic sensibility is shaped by the sunny rhythms of the Balearics, with a focus on genres such as Organic House, Afro House, Deep House and Nu Disco. In his work, natural accents take center stage, with a deep bassline subtly prevailing over the melody. Simplicity and clarity of sound are hallmarks that define his musical selections.

Since 2008, Fabson has steadily built his presence on the music scene, participating in numerous projects and performing at clubs across Poland. He particularly thrives during outdoor music events - on patios, at beach bars, and in spaces where music blends seamlessly with the surrounding nature.

Currently, Fabson leads his own project, "The Grand Sounds Vibe" - a weekly video/radio show on YouTube, where he curates carefully selected tracks from the Organic House genre. Through this platform, he collaborates with artists from around the globe, inviting them to share guest mixes and showcase their artistic contributions.

His music represents a finely balanced fusion of rhythm, nature, and sonic harmony, transporting listeners on unique, danceable journeys.

In his free time, he enjoys working on graphic design as a hobby.
