For Misfit Music's 9th release, we see the label drop into a Housier territory. Proper House sounds play a key part in Misfit Music's club events musical soundscape, so it's important that this sound is represented alongside the Techno releases. A producer who's tracks you are guaranteed to hear most weekends at the club are Jansons.

London based Jansons has become an unstoppable force in the world of House Music. Engineering for some of the biggest names, his skills can be heard clearly across the top record labels in the industry. Over the last year though he has stepped out of the shadows and become one of the key players in his own right. With releases on Knee Deep In Sound, Viva and Richy Ahmed's Fourthirtytwo, he has gained the support of everyone from John Digweed to Jamie Jones.

The Fever EP contains 3 of Jansons finest works to date, Tracks that will undoubtedly see support from the biggest names in the House scene this summer.

On remix duties, we welcome recent Misfit guest and Berlin based Vonda7. With her productions being championed by the likes of Sasha and Dense & Pika, see gives the title track her unique touch, providing us with an excellent alternative take.

'London’s DJ duo Hart & Neenan deliver the tenth release for Ben Rau’s flawless META label, and deliver a trio of hypnotizing and exquisite house tracks on the ‘Refused’ EP. 

 Glorious waves of tones wash over the swinging and tuff beats of ‘Around Us’, whilst a similar sound aesthetic is ploughed on ‘Free’, with a mesmerizing bassline anchoring a sci-fi inflected mood.  Title track, ‘Refused’, bangs hardest, with a bright and effervescing production that supremely seals this skillful release from Hart & Neenan. 

 Embarking on their production path some three years ago, the pair have released their collaborations on the District 9, Low Groove and Sanity labels, whilst Neenan also forged solo outings on label heavyweights Viva Music, and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech. '
