Rising Dutch talent Jamback has been turning heads with his energetic style, earning support from house music heavyweights like Toman, Chris Stussy and East End Dubs. Crisp snare rolls and a driving arpeggiated bassline kickstart the energy of ‘Is That Okay?’ where punchy low-end grooves collide with hypnotic monotone vocals, building an unapologetically sinister attitude. In a similar vein, ‘It’s Time’ leads with probing bass tones paired with supersonic synths that bring an otherworldly edge to the dance floor. Closing out, ‘Hell delivers playful vocal snippets and an airy, rhythmic bounce, driven by shuffling percussion and eerie organ tones.

The demo for the title track happened fast. Like, one-day fast. A few days before Gaplife’s launch at Loop51, Aron sat down to make ‘something fun’, no big plan. Just chasing a good feeling. He’d been deep in Italo house that week: bright chords, happy grooves, the kind of stuff that makes you grin without realising it. So he thought, alright, let’s try a “hands-up” track.

And in a single session, “Johnny Walks” came together. Multiple sections, builds, breakdowns, and then in that final stretch…the strings, the lift, the everything-is-right-in-the-world moment. We quickly used it as the backing track for the Loop51 poster because it was exactly that energy: positive, open, communal.

By that point, Aron already had “Night at Hugh” and “Pussy” waiting to be tested. Both were born from the same mindset: keep it simple, keep it moving. He’d been making more melodic, layered tracks and wanted to tap into that pure, four-to-the-floor groove.

“Night At Hugh” samples this old Hugh Hefner interview about fearlessness; it’s weirdly inspiring in context. And “Pussy”... well, that one’s built around a random vocal sample. No extravagant explanation, just one of those happy studio moments that slaps.

Together, these three tracks show Aron in flow mode: no overthinking, just instinct and energy. Melodic but club-ready, euphoric yet grounded. Easy to drop in a set, but also something you’ll catch yourself replaying just for the mood.
