A new song I wrote recently and I recorded a demo for it this week. 321 was the number to my last apartment and the actual "Three-twenty one hung on my door" is pictured, haha. This song has a lot of meaning and means a lot to me. Really proud of what I've done here. Hopefully one day, this song will get a full-out recording in a legit studio and all that good stuff :)

Recorded in Apple Logic 9 in Vocal labs 11, 7, and 10 at MI. Guitars were a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson Les Paul through a SansAmp GT-2. Bass was a Warwick Corvette 5 string through the same SansAmp GT-2. Drums were programmed in UltraBeat. Vocals were recorded with a Shure SM58. I'm getting a bit better at navigating Logic, so it only makes sense that I don't own a Mac and won't be able to use this knowledge anymore in a month when I graduate MI, hahaha.

Remember 2004? I do and man, I love love loooove me some of that era's post-grunge rock music (yeah yeah, go on and judge. I like crappy music; deal with it, haha). I call it "Memories" for the nostalgic feeling of when this stuff was big on the radio and I dunno, I feel like the lyrics to this song would be about remember simpler, past days in one's life.

I wrote this instrumental when I got my hands on a buddy's Mac and started messing around with the new intuitive Drummer feature in their Logic Pro X. It's a pretty smart program...doesn't do exactly what I'd want it to do in certain sections, but for some quick, controllable drum tracks without sitting there for hours programming it in UltraBeat or something, it's nice!

Development was the name I went under when I did a solo EP in 2007 that I never got around to releasing (and maybe that's for the best!). Those sessions were my first attempts at singing lead vocals. This is probably the only song that didn't completely suck, hahaha

A super sad song I wrote a long, long time ago about an ex-girlfriend that really needed to get help. Never came up with a name for it. I also played violin on this song.
