Birmingham’s Fleur Shore joins Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations imprint for the very first time with ‘Bret (Heads Down)’, a dynamic two-track EP that further cements her reputation as one of electronic music’s standout rising voices. Tipped early as one of the scene’s brightest talents, and having established herself as a BBC Radio 1 favourite thanks to a standout Essential Mix and her own BBC R1 Residency, Fleur’s arrival on Hot Creations feels like a natural next step, building on her acclaimed 2024 debut on sister label Paradise and regular appearances at the brand’s globally-renowned events. 

A nod to the iconic Amsterdam venue BRET, the title track ‘Bret (Heads Down)’ is a heads-down, groove-forward roller engineered for big moments. Crisp drums and subtle bass movements carry the track through a trippy, late-hours atmosphere, focusing on stripped-back tension and dancefloor hypnosis. On the B-side, ‘You Don’t Understand’ keeps the energy simmering with an all-action blend of vibrant vocal samples, heavy-hitting percussion and woozy old-school organ stabs, balancing attitude with atmosphere in Fleur’s unmistakable UK-influenced style. 

The release lands as Fleur continues her ascent through the global house circuit, following high-profile releases on labels like Cecille, Edible, and her own Undergrowth imprint, plus a non-stop touring that’s seen her recently land at Kappa Futur to Jones’ own Paradise In The City in London. With ‘Bret (Heads Down)’, Fleur Shore adds her own chapter to the Hot Creations story, bringing her distinctively deep and slinky sound to one of dance music’s most influential labels.

Hottrax continues to spotlight tomorrow’s talent with the arrival of Manchester-based duo MINDLESS., who make their label debut with the bold and club-focused ‘Turn It Up’ EP. Formed by Harry Carvell and Kieran Dearden, MINDLESS. is a new name emerging from the UK’s house landscape. Having only launched the project earlier this year, the pair have quickly found traction, catching the attention of tastemakers and DJs alike. Now, just months after their first release, they step onto Jamie Jones’ influential imprint, joining a catalogue renowned for championing fresh artists and future sounds. 

“Honestly, we can’t believe that in the space of six months we have gone from making our first track together for fun after work, to getting a Hottrax EP - a label that was only considered a dream to release on back in February. We thought it might be a joke because we really didn't expect this so soon! It is an honour to release on the same label as household names within the scene who inspired us to begin this journey originally. Jamie, being a key driver to our love for music, makes this release so special to us. The title track ‘Turn It Up’ kicks things off with crisp drums, snaking bass, and a tight, looping groove that keeps momentum at its core. The London-based duo has made a name for themselves with powerful releases on Hottrax, MicroHertz, and NATURE, rapidly becoming a fan-favourite among fans and DJs. Now, they make their Tamango Records debut with the EP titled "Lollipop".
