Marc Houle is back with his latest full-length album entitled “Cola Party” on his own Items & Things imprint.

The album contains 9 tracks, with the main singles being “Cola Party” and “I Don’t Wanna Know About You”. “Cola Party”, the lead track of the album, sets the scene with Houle’s textbook pitched down vocals weaving through tightly programmed drum patterns and heavy low frequencies. “I Don’t Wanna Know About You” is a late-night jam whose pulsating lead synth and effortlessly catchy main vocal hook make it one of the more upbeat tracks of the album. Both tracks will be released two weeks and one week before the album’s release respectively on iTunes.

“Cola Party” comes as a long-awaited follow up to Houle’s well-received 2012 LP “Undercover”. As an album, it contains all the elements fans and followers have grown to love with every Marc Houle release; his signature take on techno and jacking minimalistic-funk shines through from start to finish. If anything, the album is a clear example that Houle is still at the top of his game after more than 10 years in the business.

As a bonus for digital DJs and Traktor users worldwide, the album will be part of the Native Instruments' Traktor Remix Set series in July. The stems of 7 of the tracks from the album will be on this Remix Set release, following on from an array of other well-known artists who have done the same since the Remix Set series’ inception in Autumn 2012.

“Cola Party” is Houle’s sixth studio album and comes just in time for summer, with the release date set for 27th June.

We welcome back Serbian wunder-kid Reblok. This time with a single EP called 'Im Loosin It'. Raw, deep but very pumping material for late night sets. This track has been already hammered and well tested at WMC by detroit maestro Dennis Ferrer. On the remix duties we have dutch artist Maximiljan who is signed to Mobilee, Moon Harbour and Liebe Detail. Maximiljan delivered rather deep and techno interpretation of the original track. Watch out, we got something for everyone!

FINNEST music welcomes Arialdo Reynoso (Arialdo AP) from the Dominican Republic. Arialdo brings us Vibes', a very underground maxi that shows that he is in good shape in the studio. The first cut, 'Apollo Vibes', is a track with a lot of groove supported by a pad that in turn acts as background within the set of tracks, the rest of the work is done by the multitude of effects and percussion shots. The second cut, 'Phoebus Vibes', is much darker, ideal for the after party, spectacular bass dynamism and very serious rhythms with a hypnotic melody as background and a crazy whistle from time to time, very good job. Without a doubt, a very good presentation, friend!

Laura Jones’ ‘Love In Me’ has undoubtedly been one of the biggest tracks of the
year, prompting Matt Tolfrey to call upon three of the hottest players in the game to
remix this dance floor stormer for the next release on the unstoppable Leftroom
imprint. Remixers include man of the moment Maceo Plex, golden girl of Chicago
Kate Simko and Bristol’s finest fresh talent Eats Everything.

The monumental ‘Love In Me’ was first released on Leftroom in May on ‘The Extended
Family Part 2’. An exhilarating ride of deep but seriously melodic uplifting house, this
summer anthem achieved prolific support championed by the biggest names in the
business including Seth Troxler, Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom and soon
became one of the standout tracks that graced all dancefloors from the Miami
WMC to the terrace of the notorious DC10. Propelling Laura Jones further into
stardom, the track made it to No. 1 in Beatport deep house chart and secured her
place as one of the leading ladies in the underground dance scene. A treasured
member of the Leftroom family, Laura has been given the creative reigns for this
special release, directing the artwork and vinyl colour.

Each of the remixers on board are well known for their own unique and individual
styles, which exuberantly shines through in each remix. Finding time between
managing his new record label Ellum Audio, releasing a string of smash hits, and
relentless touring schedule, Maceo Plex steps up first. Imprinting his signature sound,
‘Love In Me’ turns into a grumbling deep dance floor modern classic, holding
preciously on to the melodic ride that drives the original.

Top female force from Chicago, Kate Simko puts a sensual yet driving spin on it with
intricate tribal grooves and smooth melodic undertones. Creating a smokey
progression of emotive synths, warping stabs, and teases of the original melody,
Kate’s remix delivers an airy injection of sexiness while keeping true to the original.

Hailing from the heart of the burgeoning Bristol camp, Eats Everything makes his mark
on ‘Love In Me’ with a raw bouncy percussion, Chicago vibe and garage bass line.
Having secured his place as a firm favourite in the Radio 1 headquarters and fast
becoming a name on everyone’s lips, its no surprise that Matt Tolfrey called upon this
rising star to round off this massive release.

Huxley welcomes UK duo Bodhi on board at his budding No Idea’s Original imprint this December. Following in the footsteps of artists like Pierre Codarin, Jordan, Kalyde and Boxia, Bodhi supply an onslaught of dance-floor weapons for the label, providing a heavy hitting four tracker.
