A while ago I was in need of a creative outlet. No longer playing with my band and having "adulting" conflicts w/ my other creative endeavors, I needed to find a way to create and practice something new. So I turned to making electronic music.
A laptop definitely isn’t the same as a collaborative group of musicians, but it opens up a new avenue for discovery and expression.  Since then, I've been learning Logic, discovering sounds, and trying to learn the art of creating electronic tracks. Every week I would start a fresh new idea and developed it for a week or two, then move on. As I got better, I began spending more time on each track.  These are basically my homework assignments, none of them polished or perfected, but in an effort to combat my tendency for hiding my creative work, I thought I’d share.

ps - these tracks aren’t yet mixed or mastered so they’ll sound a little flat compared to other stuff out there (ok no more disclaimers:)
