This summer, Spark Sunderland (107 Spark FM, Spark TV & Spark Online) will be covering a multitude of local and regional events focused around the City of Sunderland. Spark Sunderland will be covering events in a variety of ways; interviews on the radio, TV packages an reviews published online.

As part of the promotion of this coverage Head of Station Sound at 107 Spark FM, John Scott made a radio promo for the sub-brand. I was lucky enough to be asked to get to voice some of the promo alongside the wonderful "Voice of 107 Spark FM", Kayleigh Munday.

It seems only yesterday that we were in June last year, when I was on a plane travelling around the other side of the world, AKA - Aussieland. When little did I know that this message was played out in Independent, a bar in Sunderland.

That was my 'sorry I can't be there' message, as then 107 Spark FM Programme Controller played just before the 2011 Spark awards got under way.
