CPEMS Tracks

Remix of the first assignment for the Composing and Producing Electronic Music course.  I wanted to continue the feel of the original, so it took me a while to get into the vibe of it, but eventually I found a fun groove / feel.   That's always a good exercise, I think... to step out of your comfort zone and do something different from what you would normally do on your own.

I suppose that's the point of taking the class, for me at least.

CPEM Assignment 1 Remix

Week four assignment: Drum and bass track.   This one is in 12/8, as per the instructor's suggestion.  Also, mono drums and stereo bass.  Weird way to mix but it did end up being different from what I usually do.

Oh, and let's not forget:  Massive.   I used Massive for the basses and layered kicks.   Starting to like Massive a lot.

Joshdavis CPEMS7 - Trance

This is my final project for the semester.   I really learned alot.   It's pretty much done.   I didn't spend much time in the mastering phase, but I'm very happy with how it turned out.

CPEMS Final Project - House Track

A semi trip-hop downtempo psy bass track I did as a class project.   I liked it enough that I thought it was worth publishing here.
