Acclaimed Italian producer Marco Lys remixes an underground favourite from Deetron, ‘Starblazer’ on Defected. A record widely regarded as one of the exemplary tracks of the 2010’s house resurgence, ‘Starblazer’ by Swiss producer Deetron remains a staple for many A-list DJs from Sam Divine to Hot Since 82. Today the accomplished track is remixed by one of the most listened to tech house artists on Spotify, and the 7th best-selling house artist on Beatport, Marco Lys. His groove-laden and deep style is apparent with this intense remix of ‘Starblazer’, foregoing the original’s simplicity in favour of complex and percussive build and release – underpinned by a subterranean bass adding dancefloor wonkiness.
