I know many of you have been waiting for this one, so here you go. I hope it won’t disappoint.

Meaning of the song:
Those of you who’ve been following me for a while probably know about my past struggles with anxiety and panic attacks. During my teenage years, it got to the point where I thought I’d never get out of it. I believed I could never live a “normal” life, let alone pursue a career as a musician where I’d have to be on the road and show myself online.

I locked myself in at home, and my world became so small that I lost touch with almost all my friends. I was too scared to tell anyone, and back then only a handful of people knew what was really going on. That’s the thing.. if you’ve never experienced mental health issues yourself, it’s hard to understand what it truly feels like. That’s why I didn’t want to give people a reason to judge.

I honestly don’t know what would’ve happened if I hadn’t had the right people around me at the time. It took me years to learn how to cope, but thankfully I’m living my dream now. The anxiety is still there, but it’s part of me.. and one of my biggest creative sources.

That’s what the song is about for me. Interestingly, when we first wrote it, we imagined a more apocalyptic setting like "The Last of Us" or "I Am Legend".

But when I sing it now, I think about the people who helped me back then. I want to be that person for others and hopefully offer you some comfort through my music.
