"WAR" has become a beast of its own. From a DJ tool I made last year to plays from my favourite DJs all over the world. Excited for this to be finally coming out and the message requests to stop.

"Lost Time" is a key driven drum workout. I wrote this track around the piano sample with the aim of turning it into a peak time record for Summer. Hands in the air moments.

"Pulling Teeth" is a more introspective cut to end the record. Lots of synth layers and modulation. I made this on a Sunday evening fresh from the night before.

Really excited that my first full EP in 3 years, is out now on MNVR REcords. Came back from an early season trip to Ibiza and blasted these out. Felt natural for them to have an IBZ home.

MNVR Records is a non-profit label and all proceeds will be going to youth music charities. House music with a purpose.

Josh Gregg - Champion Sound (Original Mix) (FREE DL)

The first version of Deadline was an accident that came when I was trying to work with synth harmonies. The melodic parts played off each other well but it didn’t really make sense as a project until I found the vocal, then through that the whole thing came together within a few days. 

Cristales was made after a week listening to old Dennis Ferrer records before I was playing the same festival lineup. It kinda got sidetracked into a ‘DF meeting Dixon in a jungle’ hybrid that has definitely worked on the dance floor.

Antisocial is a straight up 4/4 techno track. I started the original drum groove on the world’s longest coach journey from Stansted airport to Brum, but it wasn’t until I went back in on it a few weeks later and wrote the analoguey top line that the track sounded anything near to what it sounds like now.

There was no real artistic direction for the three tracks as a whole other than  just trying to delve into different styles and sounds of music I enjoy making. To have someone who’s career is a testament to that ethos on the release as remixer is really special.
