In 2019, a year after Josh’s return to production from a long hiatus with his single “Take Me Away” with Patrick Alavi, he took a retrospective trip with his friends and ended up in France.

The result was “From NYC with Love”, his love letter to Marseille. A collaboration with Massilia Square Garden Records that marks the start of a consistent flow of new releases from Josh and Uptown Vinyl Supreme.

This LP includes new and unreleased music and features for the first time on vinyl “Rock On”. A single released in 2011 from his debut album “Red Unicorn” under the alias Silver Disco.

Each record is hand-numbered and limited to only 300 copies. Never to be repressed.

Josh Hubi is a Puerto Rican and Turkish engineer, producer, and disc jockey born and raised in New York City, The Bronx. He brings his voice to the masses by combining elements of Disco, Soul, Funk, and House into his productions released under Naughty Turk and Silver Disco. 

He’s one of the co-founders of @NyonRecords and third member of Uptown Vinyl Supreme, where he’s shared the decks with Louie Vega, Bobbito Garcia, Rich Medina, Pete Rock, Prince Paul, Tony Touch, Natasha Diggs, and Easy Mo Bee to name a few.

Since 2009, Josh has put out multiple singles under numerous stage names and one full length album, titled Red Unicorn as Silver Disco via Sugarland Records, one of the best selling independent Disco & French House labels of the last decade, with support from Ridney, Knight One, Les Loups, Zimmer, Aeroplane, Ben Delay, Hugo Van Dyck, Sedat The Turkish Avenger, and numerous others.
