This song is a part of the debut album 'Ird-gird' and features Ustad Dilshad Khan on Sarangi. This is a premix of the song released in 2015 before the album launch for a crowdfunding campaign.

Maujood

A man possessed by a spirit that is his own,
The one that resides within him, among many others.
He gets out of bed as the world sleeps and the skies shudder. 
He walks among us, Disguised.
He stumbles from the weight of his thoughts, 
As he walks with his eyes closed.
He is never in a hurry, and yet he never stays.
Life, as bare as it can be, is his drug of choice.


Nashedi

Laawe jaisi aankheiñ haiñ,
Aur pathreeli si aedi hai,
Nashedi hai.
Khud maiñ uljha rehta hai,
aur fitrat taedi-maedi hai,

Na parbat isne kaate, na dariya isne chaane,

Every now and then, there is a feeling that lingers.

Maujood literally means presence and this song is beyond you and I.
It is between them and the universe.

Life and its incomprehensible shenanigans.

Besabra

Ik un-suljhi paheli si, ik be-rukhi saheli si,
Kabhi apno maiñ ghuli si hai, kabhi unmeiñ he, akeli si,
Ik un-kahi kahani hai, bas thokar tu kha, aur aansooñ pee,
Kabhi rishtoñ se jalaati hai, kabhi khushiyañ de, ye geeli si.

Hai matlabi, aur hai sagi bhi.

Na jaane kitne naam haiñ iske,
Na jaane kitne rang badalti,
Kuch albele se kaam haiñ iske,
