Daniel Portman was born and raised in the suburbs of Zurich, Switzerland. He fell in love with electronic music at a very young age: It was the late 90s, with all its ups and downs, when young Daniel started to test his musical abilities on an Akai2000 sampler and an old sequencer.

Mid 2000s his first EP “Backside / Evolution” was released on Unreleased Digital. Followed by the EP “I never sleep”. Tracks came up on labels such as Harem Records, Big & Dirty, Armada, AnjunaDeep or on PinkStar Records next to releases on his homebase label Unreleased Digital.
He’s also known for successful collab productions with Jerome Isma-Ae and Stanley Ross.

Rapidly he gained a big base of fans from all corners of the world, and his agenda got fully booked with DJ gigs on all continents. He made quite a heavy assault on the DJ scene performing on events in front of more than 10’000 people.

Over the years Daniel designed a forward thinking and unique style of house music, which can be described as a mixture of progressive house and techno. But also with an ability to infuse cutting edge machine music with soulful grooves. Therefore his productions regularly fill the top positions of Beatport’s Top 100 chart and are fast becoming staples for DJs everywhere.

Leon 'Avalon' (Nano records, Killerwatts & Future Frequency) From London, Uk is currently one of the biggest names on the international psy-trance circuit. He has remixed and collaborated with some of the top artists in the scene such as Tristan, Astrix, Loud, Pixel, Captain Hook, Zen mechanics. Domestic, Sonic Species, Laughing Buddha, Xerox and illumination, Dick Trevor, EVP to name a few. His collaboration with Tristan, known as Killerwatts is currently taking bookings all over the globe following the release of their debut album ‘Blow Your Mind’ in April 2012. He has also just released an incredible ‘Avalon Remixes’ album which has just come out on Nano records and charted number one on beatport.
Over the past year Avalon has been busy touring the globe non-stop having played over 30 countries and festivals including Universo Paralello, Ozora, Boom, Tribe, Sunburn India, Tribaltech, Kaballah, Indigo Festival, xxxperience, Glade, Ultra Music festival, Antaris, Burning Mountain, Aurora, Burning man, Eclipse2012 Oz, Indian Spirit, Time and Space, Resonance, Freqs of Nature and many more. He’s rapidly becoming one of the most sought after sounds in the industry.
Big news just in is Avalon and Sonic Species are teaming up to do a progressive project called Future Frequency. The debut track from FF with Zen mechanics 'Naked stoned exalted' was a huge hit this summer. These are two hot young talents currently causing a big stir in the trance world. Expect big things. CAPTAIN HOOK is the new project by Reshef Harari, from the center of Israel, who is already well-known as being half of the duo QUANTIZE as well as for his techno project SHEFF.

After the release of the debut Quantize album at late 2008 on Iboga Records he has been in high demand on dance floors across the globe – from Universo Paralello, XXXPerience, Tribe, Playground & Atmosphere in South America to Burning Man & Symbiosis in the US as well as some of the biggest festivals on the European scene, such as Sonica, Antaris and Hadra, where Quantize have pumped out their unique fusion of psychedelic progressive techno trance. As already mentioned, he has been releasing techno-tunes on his own for a while with the project Sheff, with tunes heavily supported by key players like Umek, Erphun, and Perfect Stranger, and now the time has come for a solo-exploration of the progressive side of psychedelic trance with the new project Captain Hook! Heavy basslines, crunchy grooves, and a sound very suited for nighttime are the ingredients, with a focus strictly for the dance floor, things are looking very interesting for the coming months as well as 2011.
