Not a professional recording at all. Just good ole' fashioned messing around with a mic. Adam recently turned me on to The Milk Carton Kids, and this song has become one of my favorites. I can't do it justice, but I think this came out ok.

No Hammer To Hold

John and Adam Clifton introduced me to this song. I loved it as soon as I heard it. It's a traditional folk song of Scottish origin.

Wild Mountain Thyme

This was one of the first songs I ever learned to play and the one that I have people ask me to sing the most. I haven't played it in a long while, and figured why not start off my new years resolution of recording more music right with this Old Crow favorite. I messed up a little in the middle, and the mix is a little muddy but I think it came out pretty cool!

Wagon Wheel

Here's a cover I just did of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero's "All Wash Out". It's a great tune that I first discovered watching the documentary "Big Easy Express". I'm trying to experiment with the softer side of my voice, as well as playing without a pick (which I never do!). Let me know what you think!
