My mind is blown by how this track was supposed to sound like... childhood

Josh, I just want to tell you that you and your music is legendary to me, One of my favorite Crash Bandicoot soundtracks of all time. Thank you so much! 

theres a prototype version of Crash 2 where there is a totally different music track for rock it. Did you do it too?

Hands down the best song in the entire original trilogy. So genuinely epic!

The "space flute" in the left channel adds so much atmosphere to this version. I wish the N. Sane Trilogy took inspiration from this version instead of the console one because this is what's missing from it.

Reminds me of a sci-fi remix of Nutcracker’s “Dance of the Mirlitons” and Russian folk music, especially with the tremulating clarinet. I’m Russian and can just FEEL the sounds of my country in your masterpieces. 

You made my childhood ♥️ and this is the greatest think a man can do for the world, because children have to dream big right away...

Josh Mancell is a Los Angeles-based composer. He has created music for multi-million unit selling video game franchises (Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter), Emmy award-winning television (Clifford the Big Red Dog), festival-acclaimed independent films (The Wake of Light, Love Comes to the Executioner, A Star for Rose, Eat the Sun, etc) and a diverse array of commercials (including Target, McDonalds, EA Games and AT&T), logos and other visual media. Josh is also involved with several bands as both a performer and a producer (Exploding Flowers, Vagrant Winter, Fun Time Objects, Cellborg) and has guest lectured/panel-participated at American Film Institute, Berklee College of Music, Royal Northern College of Music, Sarah Lawrence College, UC Irvine, Cal Poly Pomona and LA College of Music College. His iconic music for the Crash Bandicoot video games was performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 2018 and music from both the Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter games was performed by the Manchester Video Game Orchestra in 2022.
