La légende britannique Craig Walker, ancien leader d'Archive et de Power of Dreams nous propose une version afro electro & pop rock de Ngaminke. Selon Craig Walker, le remix a été inspiré par Andrew Weatherall et ses remixes de la fin des années 80 et du début des années 90. Il affirme : "Les voix étaient incroyablement inspirantes pour travailler et la trame de fond de la chanson était également très inspirante. Moi-même et le co/producteur Thierry Fournie avons tout rejoué, j'ai joué du mélodica, de la basse, des guitares électriques et Thierry a joué des synthés et a fait la programmation . Ma voix a été ajoutée en dernier et a été l'élément le plus difficile à obtenir. Nous avons essayé d'être aussi fidèles que possible à la chanson originale, mais en ajoutant de l'electronica, de la dream pop, des vibrations de guitare indie.

Né à Dublin, Craig Walker a commencé sa carrière d'enregistrement professionnel à l'âge de 17 ans avec son groupe Power of Dreams. Le premier album du groupe "Immigrants, emigrants and me" a été largement salué par la critique comme l'un des meilleurs premiers albums irlandais de tous les temps. Après la disparition du groupe après quatre albums, Craig a rejoint le groupe de rock progressif londonien Archive et a sorti trois albums studio dont de nombreux fans et critiques pensent qu'il s'agit du chef-d'œuvre du groupe "You All Look The Same To Me". Craig a sorti un certain nombre d'albums avec Them There, Mineral, Booka Shade et un album solo "Siamese" en 2009. En 2014 "Fade Out Lines", une chanson que Craig a écrite avec son partenaire Them There Phoebe Killdeer est devenu un succès mondial pour le dj français. /producteur The Avener. En 2016, Craig et Phoebe ont reçu le prestigieux prix de création en France pour la chanson. Craig vit et travaille actuellement à Berlin où il est devenu un auteur-compositeur très demandé pour une multitude d'actes. Craig et le compositeur français de bandes sonores Nicolas Errera ont été nominés pour un prix Écrans canadiens 2022, pour leur chanson "Drop The Rock" dans la catégorie Meilleure chanson originale de film. En 2019, Craig a formé un nouveau projet avec Erik Alcock, né au Canada et basé à Berlin. Craig Walker And The Cold, ils ont sorti leur premier single "Get Arrested" à l'été 2021. Craig et Erik travaillent actuellement sur le 6e album Power of Dreams qui sortira en octobre 2022.

Los Angeles producer Sweatson Klank builds his productions as if they were films, developing a story from start to finish, sending listeners on a sonic adventure ripe with ferocity and accented with unique texture. Stylistically, 'Fine Lines' his debut full length for Friends of Friends, picks up where his 2017 'Then I Was Me’ EP left off, melding forward thinking Hip Hop and Electronics as a back drop for a soulful and sultry journey through a tumultuous love affair, loss of self, and the dark empty spaces in our minds. 

The songs on 'Fine Lines' sit in a space occupied by Hip Hop, Future R&B and House, yet the record cleverly transcends any single genre. While much of the production is hard hitting, the album manages to walk a tightrope between heartache and swagger. A meticulous fine line that weaves itself like a thread throughout. Sweatson Klank enlists a number of features on the album including newcomers Ana Calvo, Sarah Saldivia, and Annie Bass as well as past collaborator, Montreal producer Ango. 'Fine Lines’ is a deep front-to-back listen, immersed in multitimbral textures, colors and sentiments that reveal themselves more with each listen.
