I recorded this in under an hour.


We used to be in love and I didn’t mind,
Lying in your bed, wasting all my time,

There’s an ever-growing list of things we shouldn’t do.
It just keeps growing on,
The willow tree in my back lawn.

Thought we might move to Omaha,
To see our idols in the street as we pass along,
But you couldn’t make the trek, neither could I.

Losing horses at the downs.

Mother always told me, "Son, misfortune comes in threes."
So, now when something happens, there's no surprises ahead of me.

It's like it's raining when the sun's out,
