Here is a 3 hrs 20 min recording of a 4,5 hour set my Sangoma Records labelpartner Emiel and i played in Poland at Summer Contrast Festival! in August 2018. Unfortunately the recorder couldn't grab the whole set but this should be enough to give you a proper insight of what we have in our musical medicine bags! Dear fellow creatures, in these ambivalent times full of change and uncertainty, we are facing new states of our everyday modes that are asking us to adopt likewise measures. We are undergoing social distancing in order to unite in a common cause, we are undergoing inactivity in order to take action, and we are forgetting our differences in order to remember that we are all connected in a circle much larger than we can possibly grasp.

Aligning to this global situation, we have made a small attempt to reach out to all of you. We feel that we need to impose some special measures and in the same ambivalent manner we decided that a strict Forestdelic curfew needs to be announced all over your speakers. Everyday from 21:00 CET there will be a new recorded set from one of our native artists on our Soundcloud page for about an hour of positivity, joy and inspiration, and when movement in the area of fear, panic and despair will be strictly forbidden. All the rest of your daily time we kindly ask from everyone to be conscious, disciplined and caring for one another and exercise the general guidelines active in your respective areas.

We at Sangoma Records are happy to present our first EP by Brazilian artist CyK. The man behind that project is Ciro Mendes, who is no stranger to this label – he has already released an album with his project Alchemy Circle along with Caio Wandalsen on Sangoma. For this release, he pulled quite some tricks off his sleeve and surprised us with his unique style and phat production, including a rocking collaboration with one of Brazil’s most promising acts – Konebu. Cyk explores the wilder, more foresty side of the psychedelic spectrum and is another great example of strong psychedelia made in Brazil, which we love so much. Big thanks and appreciation to our dear friend Nicolás Rosenfeldtown once again for his stunning artwork.
