We are hereby presenting our first guest mix from DJ and crate digger MOQST.

Moqst recorded this mix as an imaginary summer session at 
Refshaleøen, waiting for the heat to come in the cold Copenhagen.
It all starts off with a dreamy/melancholic piano song from the Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi, to continue with an exploration of sensational grooves from all parts of the planet - Russian Synth-Pop, Jamaican Reggae to name a few.
MOQST is a French DJ based in Copenhagen for few years and signs the last track as a tribute for his roots.

next in line driving our Espresso is the duo @hand-madedjs 

Hand-made are DJs and diggers from the Scottish capital, Edinburgh. They have a love for the everything and anything, but this mix focuses on the downtempo, hip-hop and R&B. They run a party at Sneaky Pete’s and have a residency on EHFM radio, both called Hand-made with Love, and this mix is delivered with no less love than usual.

With a residency on @balamii radio and a raft of other guest mixes, edits played by our favourite dj's on international stages, regular party slots in The Jago in Dalston and beyond these lads are worth keeping an eye on!

Up next for the second instalment of our Loose Connections series is Callum Duff, a dear friend and collector I admire for his endless passion for finding the weird and wonderful records out there that are sometimes forgotten about but always turn heads. 

Callum has an impressive string of mixes under his belt, Notably Doing Time and Seance Centre on NTS, Through the Trees and The Lot Radio so I’m delighted to have him onboard for our little series!

Biko has been curating his digs over on YouTube for some time now and those that know it know it’s an impeccable selection of worldly oddity’s that’s make you scratch for more every time you hear him djing.

He’s also been a part of some of my favourite mix series online such as CTW, Headphone Magic, Music For Ears and Ty’s Through The Trees, you can find him Djing all over the north of the Netherlands and beyond these days leaving you hungry for more. For LC 004 we've got Parisian selector Raw Queen on the soundcloud airwaves and wow, what a treat hes given us! Hes the Co founder of @discotomie which has been putting on some killer parties hosting the likes of Mark Grusane and Mr Ties to name a few! 

Looking through this mans instagram and soundcloud socials and it will leave you drooling at his extensive knowledge of gospel and rare 45's and beyond. This mix moves through all things rare Soul, Gospel, Funk and Boogie and its straight heat from the off!

Loose Connections 006 is here and this time round we've got French selector Timéo on board laying down an hour of baleric tinged grooves spanning across multiple genres all with warmth and a peaceful energy in mind. Timéo has been digging and djing over 10 years at this point and has supported the likes of Les Yeux Orange, Demuja and Camion Bazar to name a few! With countless mixes under his belt, Most noteably the Fandango crew, Music for Ears, CTW and Alter Disco this guy wears many hats, currently working as a Mental health carer, running a label and a mix series alongside a solid crew over in Rennes. Let the music take you away and free your mind!
