'Songs I Wrote For Her' is my debut album representing 3 years of personal and musical growth. Each song on this album was written before, during and after a relationship I had which was really special and influential to me. Together they tell a story of love and loss and represent an album which I never set out to write, but which is deeply personal to me. I really hope you enjoy my first real project; it's been a long time coming and I can't wait to share more music in the future.

Lonely On My Own was a song I first made in 2020. At the time it was the best I had and I was so proud of all the layered harmonies and that I'd done it all myself. As time went by, I was never happy with the end result. All my hard work ended up sounding like a mess and I've always thought about redoing it properly, but I was always worried I'd be left feeling the same way. 5 years on I finally did it and it was so gratifying to be able to say I've really improved and can be proud of it again. All of the vocals are the same recordings just handled differently than I once did so that hard work wasn't for nothing. TLDR, don't be so hard on yourself.
