I love the city environment. The concrete jungle has its own unique qualities exemplified through the seemingly simplest things. Traffic is a prime example. It moves at breakneck pace one moment and grinds sharply to a halt the next, but before you know it, everything is full speed at last. The ebb and flow of traffic twists us on a rollercoaster of high cruising, deep aggravating, and fast swerving. However, it always keeps us on track to our destination. Life similarly echoes this blaring message, taking us for quite the ride, but always bringing us to where we are supposed to be. It is with these thoughts in mind that I recorded my own improvised jazz piece on my euphonium.
