Have a Nice Swim was created using 2 analog synths - a Moog Grandmother and a Korg Minilogue - run through a variety of pedals and degradation effects, including an old walkman. In the background you can hear the sounds of a local swimming pond.
The song feels like a memory of a melody heard long ago, now scratched and worn, with glimpses of a past life, perhaps now gone, lost in dusty shoeboxes of cassette tapes and faded Polaroids.

Here’s a late summer track for lying in sunny fields surrounded by buzzing grasshoppers and cicadas.
In 1980 my dad recorded conversations with friends and family onto cassette. The voices in the background are samples from those old conversations, dusty and faded. I tracked parts of this song outside in my backyard using analog synths - a Korg Monologue and Moog Grandmother.

Missile Kids

This track started with a bee in a bag. I live in the woods and often sample the nature around me. On this day there was a bee that I caught in a paper bag and sampled the buzzing sound before releasing it. The crackling bee sample is re-pitched and manipulated with varying rhythmic timings. It sits over a driving analogue Moog synth line, with drums made using an analogue Russian drum machine (ADS-7).

I re-pitched and messed with the rhythm to get a crackling, bouncing drone. It sits over a driving 3-note analog Moog synth line, with drums made using an analog Russian drum machine (ADS-7).

Can I make a song using only one synth? That was my goal for this dance song. Sometimes limitation sparks creativity, so I made all melodic elements with only my cheap Behringer MS-1.In fact, the MS-1 broke just seconds after I finished tracking the main melody line! Luckily, I had everything I needed, and the track came together as Cowhitter. Check it out wherever you stream music.
P.S: No cows were hit during the making of this track.

I used the clarinet that was once my father’s to record this track, layering many takes to create the waves of sound that build throughout. I often walk in the woods, and sampled leaves and sticks to create the percussion. A mix of analog synths, including my Moog Grandmother, and Ableton completed the track.

Where We Going is a chill electronic track built around cassette recordings my dad made in 1980—just everyday moments from our home when I was 3 years old. I sampled those voices—mine, my parents’, and a family friend’s—and layered them with warm analog synths to create a nostalgic, lo-fi-inspired soundscape. It’s intimate and pensive, with a child-like innocence—like flipping through an old photo album with a synth soundtrack. It’s a piece about memory, childhood, and the texture of lost time.
