Life has taught me that it can be cruel and will kick you while you’re down to the point that you want to end it all. Hard work and dedication thrown out the window, only to be left behind to pick up the shattered pieces of your life.

Despite all this, like a phoenix, we rise from the ashes. We keep fighting. We keep the hope alive.

Brazil has been a lifelong dream, and at age 30, it finally became a reality. I experienced its beauty and magic, but more importantly, it has reminded me that nothing will stop me from achieving my dreams.

Plans change. My vision doesn’t.

Born in NYC into a mixed Cuban/ Puerto Rican family, house music was an integral part of his upbringing and still is to this day.  With heavy influence from his uncle Adam Ruiz AKA “Dj Mada”, Joshua showed an interest in various types of electronic music from an early age. It was upon moving to Miami for college in 2010 where he attended his first Winter Music Conference that sparked his aspirations to become a DJ. 

Joshua’s sound is a blend of tech house, tribal and sultry progressive beats. Inspired by greats such as Abel Aguilera and Eddie Martinez,  each of his sets are a culmination of genres that he skillfully curates to take his listeners on their respective musical journeys. 

Entering the NYC nightlife scene in the summer of 2021 with the ability to play to various crowds and rooms, he has swiftly made a name for himself in the circuit and house music scene. 

Joshua holds current residences with: The Eagle - Wilton Manors , The Eagle NYC, BOS PHILLY,  MASTERBEAT, Kinetic Events, and LPN miami.
