White Walls Master

This new record deals with multiple themes: Coming of Age, political criticism, anxiety, and melancholic love. It’s back to basics again with this one with me sitting in my bedroom recording with my cheap guitars and one microphone making it a very intimate and close affair. 
Please is a breakup ballad about a hateful split up or Divorce. The message of the song is that giving oneself the blame for a failed marriage or relationship is not the way to get over the breakup. The narrative is underlined by the dialogue which is noticeable when listening closely and reading the lyrics at the same time. Whiskey warns of alcohol addiction and drug abuse while reflecting the fear of consumerism. It reflects how addiction develops and that it spirals. A devil’s circle creates the need for the consumer to feel used to high levels of consumption. In Autumn leaves the use of seasons shows the narrative development and a change throughout time. The song is about falling and picking oneself up again. It’s a coming-of-age song where the Lyrical I feels lost and does not know how to go on nor what to do next. I’ll See You Soon reflects on the good old days when a couple was happy and close by. It represents the difficulties of a long distance relationship. Julia shows war and suffering.

Joshua Worts is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Germany. His early work is a mixture between Indie Rock and Pop music played on an acoustic guitar. Together with his voice, he created a melancholic and dreamy atmosphere in his songs. He has released one Album Watching The Stars, vol. 2 as well as multiple Singles including Watching The Stars, Vol. 1, All I Want and most recently [Head Held High] on multiple platforms.
