I'm basically an artist who loves to play and listen to music that comes from an authentic source. I love to learn new songs and put my own "signature" or "finger print" to them, ultimately making it much more personal to me for my own therapy, but then I've found that people who listen to my covers or originals feel almost vindicated having been through what I sing and play and relate, I'm blessed to have really captivated some hurting people because they shared that pain within the content of the cover or original. I'm a recovering addict with three years clean and have found inspiration in the long road to personal redemption, songs that I cover like "Hurt" or even "I Walk Alone" (btw, I hate to listen to that one but I love to play it with my own spin) Can really demonstrate what I mean about making it personal to me. Songs I've written and have yet to post, like "Affliction," "Single Mom Song," "Through Another Day," and "Alchemy" are me exposing my soul to the world; I sing about anything from heroin addiction, to the plight of a single mother, ro even to my sociological observations which manifest themselves into a very dark side of myself that I've learned to use for my art instead of self destruction. If you take the time to listen, know that it's not mastered, it's done with my smart phone, and I am coming from the heart with anything I do and I hope that it reaches you and is as therapuetic for you as it was for me making it.
