Efficient and happy, this track was obviously inspired by their common musical culture of the Disco genre. It is bound to please and ravish all disco lovers but also those who feel nostalgia for the French touch. Disco is still alive !

Jeff Cortez, Danny Wild "Like This House" (Short Mix) (OUT ON BEATPORT)

The acapella is from a recording session prior to 1982, even though the song remained unreleased until Fleetwood Mac's 2003 "Say You Will," for which Nicks recorded a new vocal. The consensus among fans: 1982>2003. Lindsey Buckingham's over-worked production and terrible arrangement sounded like sabotage those familiar with the scorching versions Nicks turned in years prior.

The legendary Icelandic electronic band GusGus has Dear Deer Records offer up a stellar remix EP that breaths new life into two of their their most iconic tracks: "Rivals" and "When We Sing", featuring the ethereal vocals of long-time collaborators Vök. Curated by label founder Alex Kaspersky, the release serves as both a tribute and a reinvention that breathes new life into GusGus' signature sound through the lenses of five distinct artists.
This release is more than music - it's a gesture of unity and support as Dear Deer Records will donate a portion of the income generated from sales to humanitarian aid for Ukraine, helping civilians and victims affected by the ongoing war and Russian aggression.
The Italian techno powerhouse Sasha Carassi delivers a masterfully restrained and cinematic remix of "When We Sing". With hypnotic arpeggios, a deep atmospheric build, and subtle tension, Carassi elevates the track into a moody, late-night masterpiece. Ukrainian Indie Dance talent DAARI brings a warm, groove-laden reinterpretation of "When We Sing". Her version pulses with nostalgic synths, dreamy textures, and effortless rhythm - a dancefloor moment filled with emotion.
With his rework of "Rivals", Ukrainian producer Cafius channels melodic house energy, layering hypnotic basslines with rich harmonic textures. The result is a track that feels cinematic and immersive, yet deeply physical. Known for bold club-driven productions, Larsun Hesh reimagines "When We Sing" with a raw, electronica-infused twist - blending percussive energy with distorted textures and heavy analog grit. A fearless take with punch and purpose. The Dear Deer label boss rounds off the EP with a melodic, emotionally resonant version of "Rivals". His remix is a slow-burning journey, where layered synths and subtle harmonic shifts meet an elegant, modern groove.
This EP bridges the timeless voice of GusGus with the pulse of a new generation. It's a celebration of artistry, reinterpretation and the enduring power of electronic music to evolve while staying emotionally rooted. What's more, the whole project stands as a reminder that music has the power not only to move people - but to help them. Joshua Grey was merely sixteen when he started his DJ career. What began as pastime, turned into a profession nine years later, with Joshua beginning to work as a full-time resident DJ in Graz. Famous discos and clubs, such as iClub, Take Five, Bollwerk, Empire Club, Nachtschicht, Beluga, Remembar, Novembar, to only name a few, booked him for gigs throughout Austria. His engagements not only took him to Kursalon Huebner (Vienna), Club Zimmermann (Vienna), Fête Blanche (Velden), Tempel Club (Linz), but also to Switzerland, Italy, and Hungary. It was those countless national and international performances that led him to choose 'house music' as his prefered style.

Joshua has collaborated with House Stars like Fedde Le Grand, Bob Sinclair, Tom Novy, Milk & Sugar, Denis The Menace, Jerry Ropero, Emma Lanford, Terri B., Tara McDonald, The Disco Boys, Sarah Main, DJ Pippi, Phats & Small, Benny Benassi, DJ Antoine, Mad Mark, Jonathan Ullysses, ATB, Woody van Eyden, Tomcraft, Mr. Mike, Sergio Flores, and Gordon Edge, amongst others, who all proved greatly inspirational.
This varied experience contributed to kindling Joshua's very unique sound—a sound that is hard to describe…but needs to be heard! 
"While house music covers a broad spectrum, Joshua Grey truly understands how to get party people into the right mood for dancing and celebrating," states one of his oldest friends.
Essentially, it is the ideal blend of 'old school' and 'cutting edge' as well as 'commercial' and 'underground'—the success lies in the mix!

J.G.'s distinctive style is strongly influenced by labels such as Subliminal, Defected, Hed Kandi & Fierce Angels, as well as by vocal house from Bella Italia, mixed with funky grooves. Simply unique. Simply Joshua Grey. You just have to love it!

Later, Bernie-X, musician and producer, became part of Joshua's DJ-way of life. Together, they began running their own music studio and have been working on various remixes and own music productions ever since.

Their first release ('Naked In The Rain)', which they had worked on together with vocal house diva Terri Bjerre, immediately made it onto more than 30 compilations worldwide, for example that of renowned Fierce Angel.
They also reached #3 on the US DMC Charts, #5 worldwide, as well as entering various playlists, like, for instance, one by Roger Sanchez.
The following releases ('Need This Rhythm' and 'Rue D'Électrique') have also been hypnotizing clubs around the globe.

Meanwhile, they have launched their own label Jo:BeB Productions, released their first two singles 'Leave Your Light On' and 'Funk Me', while also starting a collaboration with The Voice Of House Himself: Roland Clark.
End of 2k14 he released the former bootleg "Beth - Don´t You Worry Child (Joshua Grey Remix)" as an official track on the famous Mark Doyle Fierce Angel Compilation III with great reactions worldwide. Moreover he started a great remix project for Mark.
