5 years of hard work in our East London studio, it's time for Burnin Music and his protagonists to celebrate with style.

They decided to contact all the artists that we came across in 5 years, whether they released on the label or not, and asked them for demos! The quality of stuff they received was so brilliant that they moved from releasing a digital-only compilation to a vinyl record!

Burnin Music are super pleased to introduce you to 8 tracks by 8 brilliant producers hailing from Tel Avi, Paris, London, Leipzig and Munich. 8 man, 8 definitions of electronic music but 1 common sound, Burnin Music.

To compliment the music we asked Theo Cerri, a talented Italian artist living in Edinburg, to design the cover.

All Ears is one we recorded some years back, but due to the sad loss of a Samsung hard drive the data was thought to be lost before the song could ever be released. Fortunately, the final recording were found in 2024, and the song has been remastered and is here to be shared with you all.

All Ears came about as Wizard was putting out a series of beat tapes and sharing amongst friends and collaborators. After hearing a particular instrumental, Gadget (known as "the hook guy" at the time) freestyled the chorus and began to build on it. After getting Wizard's blessing, he wrote a verse and reached out his regular collaborators Joey Gzus (aka Benji B / Joe Gutta) & ReggiiMental to join him with additional verses.

Keeping up with Wizard's soulful production, it was a no brainer to create something on a personal tip that many could relate to. So the song was based on a relationship type theme, as the three lyricists dedicated their verses to their partners at that time, and that was that!!

"So, what awaits you on the second edition of a compilation that claims in a winking to present “ambient race car music”? Exactly what it says on the tin. A fresh and exclusive collection of music that hopefully sounds as great in a car as it will in the comfort zone of your own living-room or during dusk and dawn in your favorite club environment (see Bicep and Fort Romeau for further reference). But first and foremost it is truly inspired by many trips on the Autobahn between Frankfurt and Heidelberg. Going to and fro from one club to the other, was the way to spend countless hours of adolescence in excitement instead of tedious purposelessness. But I will not bother you with droll stories of my youth.

Musik for Autobahns 2 is the result of a collective effort by dear friends and esteemed colleagues who picked up where the first one ended, while paying attention to the prevailing theme. From Leon Vynehall and his profound research of the BAB 5 to Joy Orbison's “A 213” or Lauer's heartfelt and wry Kraftwerk pastiche, all of the tracks have a certain compatibility in common or just sound great, while having a drive. “Breaking” by AKSK for instance made the stop-and-go traffic in the blazing heat of Los Angeles so much more bearable (the vintage Volvo helped as well). Also, you will meet freshmen like Orson Wells, whose idea of traveling exceeds the boundaries of our planet, next to a grey eminence like Orlando Voorn (on the compact disc edition of this at least) or elusive characters like Disco Nihilist. All bringing their special skills and imagination to the table.
