Our beloved @Petey-Clicks brings Night Bass his ‘Petey’s Clique’ EP. Distilled from the collaborative support of peers and friends from the likes of Qlank, Blossom, MNNR, Promnite & Hotfire, ‘Petey’s Clique’ is a total, club-ready package. The ominous groove and synchopated bassline in ‘Advice’ with @Qlank kick off the EP and melt seamlessly into the hypnotic synth work of @Blossomdj collab, ‘Overdrive’, a bubbly techno crossover with a driving bassline drop. A bit of 2-step with a touch of bass & breaks combine into the collaborative ‘Don’t Wanna’ with @MNNRmusic, whose frantic buildup and crunchy breakdown propels you into @Promnitebeats collab, ‘2 Moons’, a UK-influenced, underground-flavored banger with some hints of old school. Petey teams up with fellow Night Bass veteran @Hotfiredjs for this final track, ‘Universe’, where modern touches revitalize a mind-melting wobbly house beat, strongly rounding off the EP.
