Here's a remix of "FRAGMENTS OF MEMORIES" from Final Fantasy 8 by Nobuo Uematsu.

This particular version is SPECIAL because it features less of Josh's dumb voice and way more of Melinda's magical voice!!

The unfortunate consequence is that this version never got properly mixed or mastered. OH WELL. It's still better!

For me - this track is about the dual nature of our consciousness, and how our perception creates the world in which we, the immediate, dwell.
We can choose to feed those energies which perpetuate the "wheel", or we can choose to look beyond those things which drive our ires and impatience, and break out of the emotions which bind us.

Regarding the lore of Masquerada, this literature is hand and hand with the idea of a new age of consciousness, wherein we are no longer tied to illusions of savior entities or victimization. Remember - if we rely on someone else, or some mystical entity, to guide us, we are abandoning our free will and ability to create our own future.

Instead, let us be co-creators of a reality WE choose - a reality where the DREAMS we spend our ENERGY on will dictate how the lightness flows.
Our attention on LOVE, COMPASSION, and FORGIVENESS have the ability to shift our very way of life. As the nature of reality is truly determined by what we observe [read: quantum physics], and our consciousness has the choice of WHAT is observed and HOW it is PERCEIVED, we certainly now have the choice to break free from VIOLENCE, HATE, etc.

Listen to these words, and stop feeding the media machine which is constantly trolling us and feeding our own inner demons.
