loveletter to self

I love telling a story through my mix also sharing my emotions, thoughts and versatility. 
Each song represents my journey from grief, realization to reconnecting to myself. 
And I loved creating this mix and recording it!
It’s not typical break up music or sad music. But during this journey of building the missed connection to myself back i found a lot of strength and happiness in the music I have chosen for the mix.
A lot of depth that it’s touching and tickling my person to don’t be depressed and working on improving my best-self. Also To get out there and enjoy myself for myself.

About the songs

1. Death of Ruby - describes the beginning of grief, person is gone, vision of the person starts to fade away, but  you remember their smell and moments that you had. Everything is now a memory.
2. Echoes - having a lot of voices in my head telling me a lot of what ifs ,how to behave and what to do - depressive phase.
3. Always sunny - being nostalgic and thinking about the good times 
4. Control freak - reflecting on my behavior in the relationship and taking accountability for my actions. Recognizing that their was a missed connection to myself the whole time
5. Lushed out - End of reflection! Beginning of letting go! Taking control in fully connecting with myself. Seeing this situation as a blessing, to strengthen the connection to self. Enjoying time by myself! 
6. A woman’s Aura - the original is by Lisa Stansfield and Barry White. Just a beautiful duett! My heart as Barry White asking and telling me to define what I really need/want. For the first time really listening to my heart answering in honesty. Through making myself a priority and acknowledging my needs and desires a  energy field emerges which is the Aura of a Woman - YOU`RE ENERGY! And that ENERGY which is you´re woman Aura will divinely guide you. Living and expressing this Aura of a Woman which builds a solid ground for self worth. This song is my favorite because in that phase, I’m connecting to the woman I’m and want to be. SEEING Myself for the first time. 7. I can never be yours - is kind of revaluation where I realize that I’m enjoying that path of improving myself and that this person doesn’t fit to me no more. Accepting this reality -closing the chapter!
8. Dreaming is essential - that song just makes me very happy. It’s also very sensual through her voice and what she is saying“ believing is a durational effort!“. I’m a dreamy person and It kind of let me ride through another dimension. An a amazing production!
9. Unterwasserrausch - is very viby and also super sensual at the same time. Don’t listen to a lot of German music but I love this kind vibe. It lets me feeling myself. 
10. Couldn’t catch my breath - the artist himself is saying - add this to your Self-care routine. I don’t need to say more!
