Sebastian Borca aka Verzila is a local electronic Romanian dj, music producer and promoter, the one behind the well-known eponymous YouTube channel with the same name.

He developed a passion for modern electronic dance beats from the age of 14, exploring numerous genres and sub-genres. Over time, he finds the various flavors of house and techno to be the ones he resonates with the most and begins to devote more and more attention to music.

A new chapter was written in May 2017 when he founded Welter Records, an independent label that aims to give more exposure to international and Romanian artists who are at the beginning of their careers. The second chapter was born in 2021 with the project label Inunct Music, which is a free download house with the aim of spreading music for free and helping artists express their vision through music.

Herck - the man of tame precision. Halfway through 2019, he brought solid blocks to the chain and made feet surf on his waves on numerous occasions. 

“Masses of sound are moving about in space, each at its own speed, on its own plane, rotating, colliding, splitting up and reuniting.” - this Varese vision on music is entirely applicable to what Herck does while behind the controls. 

With sets of undisturbed percussions and utopian pads, he lays a phantasmagoric path through the thoroughly shaped passage. Eerie echoes and barbaric intrusions of certain particles of sound, remind us to expect the unexpected from such as Herck.

In the endless sea of producers and selectors, only a few leave a lasting impression. They are the niche artists, individuals that push sonic boundaries into new territory with skill, and purpose. Over the last 5 years Silat Beksi has made quite the impression on minimal music lovers across the globe by doing just that. Utilising his own unique combination of rhythms & special imprinted textures to craft emotive and energetically charged pieces of music. This was recognized early on with labels like Romaniaís Tzinah Records, Moscowís Body Parts and Ukranian imprint Mulen Records offering him a platform through which to release and refine his musical style. In 2014 this culminated in the release of Silat's first full length album, with ten wondrously diverse minimalist cuts seeing a digital release on Mulen. Having achieved this milestone, the talented producer dedicated himself to the perfection of his craft with a renewed determination, going vinyl only and launching his own imprint Modeight Records in 2016. Itís a label family that boasts some of the hottest new talent in minimal house and techno, giving rise to producers such as Germanyís Durrrred & Romanian young guns Dragutesku and RQZ. Their intuitive and forward thinking approach to minimalist music is creating sonic ripples throughout the global underground scene, challenging the existing boundaries of the genre once again.  

Fast forward to the present and Silat Beksi has amassed an enviable body of 12î releases on his journey so far. Cementing himself as one of the most inform talents in Europes underground scene with releases on labels like Germanyís almighty Pleasure Zone, Welsh imprint Dreams Are Not Inside, What You Want, Vivus Records and of course his own imprint Modeight. His sound continues to morph and develop, defying classification with it's heady combination of technoís rhythmic sensibility, breakbeat influence and warm atmospheric textures that hypnotise and excite.

He is no stranger to us and his production tends to captivate us on a regular basis. Alex Simori is one of the Romanian producers which can be described through words that have murky-ness and suspension as their optional meaning. While many would argue that the lack of dramatic change makes the energy obsolete, Alex is another example to oppose that. His selection here bears the minimalistic vision in concordance with his preferred type of claps. Everything he does is surely personified and the tracks running through his podcasts are just details of his character. There is one continuous line of bass that serves as a safety net for all the rest of parts to fall into, comforting every audition. The lack of stagnation makes this an easy listen.

Jos Lok is a DJ and producer residing in the beautiful city of Groningen, the Netherlands. Jos has been obsessed with rhythmical sounds from a young age. He naturally started moving his feet or nodding his head when hearing even a hint of groove. Not only catchy percussion caught his attention, deep emotional chords and melodies were also very welcome. As a result of his encompassing love for music, Jos started playing the drums when he was nine years old. After a few years of going through the metal music repertoire and playing in a band he acquired a new taste in music. His focus was redirected to Techno music back when he first entered the club and festival scene. Evidently, he started producing his own Techno and House. A stripped down beat, groovy bass and just the right chords or another melodic component is the perfect formula for inspiration for Jos.
Nowadays, Jos Lok manages to make a wonderful blend of minimalistic sounds and House music. His style can be distinctly categorised by its aim for innovation. His tracks can be described as a colourful story that progresses into a strong groove. His music has been released on labels such as Archipel and Vivus records. Jos Lok receives support from artist like Pheek, Christhoper Ledger, David Gtronic and Noah Skelton.
