Sick Love were a two-piece metal band from Santa Ana that invited Josie Wreck to join on bass in 2008. The union was brief, but they played a couple shows together and drank lots of beer together.

Josie Wreck is a chaotic, experimental, transgender Xicana post punk artist from Santa Ana whose sound encompasses elements of western, no wave and punk noise. Influenced by luminaries such as Lydia Lunch, Jarboe, The Birthday Party, Throwing Muses, and Diamanda Galas, you can catch her utilizing her dynamic vocal range to address transphobia, obsession, villainization, love, capitalism, despair, and walking the path of most resistance while strangling the life out of her guitar in the process. 

On stage, you'll find her either playing alone, or as an *x-piece in an exciting configuration of her full star-studded Noise Whorechestra Sexperience Ensemble, which currently includes double drummers Candace Hansen (Alice Bag, Dimber) and Christopher Gregory (Belted Sweater, The Littlest Viking), Aeon Lux (Woundz) on bass, and Franz Murder (West America, Fkn Mental) on lead guitar.

*2, 3, or 4-piece explores music within the realms of punk, hard rock, gothic, noise, experimental, acoustic, metal, electronic, folk, and improv.
